I met “the love of my life” there…several times…Back in the drunken haze nightly at the adults only Pleasure Island , it was half empty during the day when most areas were closed. During the debauchery nights then PI was packed with drunken guests including me.
Kungaloosh? She was quite the galI met “the love of my life” there…several times…
…and I think I even remember a couple of their names?
…I’m totally daydreaming now…Kungaloosh? She was quite the gal
Oh wait - wrong memory
In the late 90s, our preferred times were September and October, I remember strolling through EPCOT food and wine and walking past the food booths and not wanting to spend $1.75 for the food samples.Ahhh you kids….If you have no experience with off season parks…then you must have zero idea how bad they’ve sucked these last 10 years

ah yeah. Those were the good ol daysThose days were so nice they’ve been systematically ruined ever since
Basically the same parks as before…just half empty cause it’s 200% the price of 10 years ago…
You need To go back since the wall came downThat sounds nice, unfortunately our experience has felt more like 90% as crowded for 200% the price.
Maybe, it has been 6 months, we chose to spend our vacation dollars on a cruise in Europe this year though, better use of our funds. You need To go back since the wall came down
I can’t argue that…Maybe, it has been 6 months, we chose to spend our vacation dollars on a cruise in Europe this year though, better use of our funds.
I'd be concerned if I got ill overseas in the middle of nowhere and doubt my health insurance would cover the bill.Maybe, it has been 6 months, we chose to spend our vacation dollars on a cruise in Europe this year though, better use of our funds.
You just reminded me that Pleasure Island used to exist. One of my favorite places on property back in the day.Disney springs used to be a place to get your Disney fix without having to pay to get into a theme park and I do remember when it was down town Disney it was always super mobbed on the weekends . I presume over time and it’s transition to springs made it less Disney and more shopping mall.
One could even spend money and win something ( ie carnival games ) at Pleasure Island. I never could do well at ring toss drunk or sober.Disney springs used to be a place to get your Disney fix without having to pay to get into a theme park and I do remember when it was down town Disney it was always super mobbed on the weekends . Luckily we still have carnival games at Chester and Hester’s dinorama lolOne could even spend money and win something ( ie carnival games ) at Pleasure Island. I never could do well at ring toss drunk or sober.
You do have a gift for non-sequitur…I'd be concerned if I got ill overseas in the middle of nowhere and doubt my health insurance would cover the bill.
He tried to retire several times. The Board kept convincing him to stay longer and he did.I think it is officially time for Bob Iger to have the sudden urge to “Spend more time with family”.
The writing is on the wall.
How much had the net worth of the board dropped? He tried to retire several times. The board kept convincing him to stay longer and he did.
