Umm, there is something called computer modeling that can input material strength, weight, speed, angle and other factors to predict how much stress is on each component at any time then a safety factor is added so "they weren't expecting" isn't really a cope
It is when is Zamperlas first coaster that goes 120 mph and over 420 feet high. Before that their fastest coaster was 55 mph

You seem to be in denial of Top Tier being closed for safety concerns shortly after the grand opening.
Nope. It is an issue but I'm saying it's not the first ride to experience being closed shortly after opening. Lots of rides at all parks across the country experience the same thing.

From the responses I can tell many here don't visit or hear about what happens at regional parks much at all.

It's not closed due to safety reasons at all. It could still run if they chose to run it. The part that they are working on is one they change multiple times a season. The issue is the part is not lasting as long as they hoped.

New coasters go down a lot when they first open. If you went to more than just Disney you would know.
Both posts contradict each other.
Not closed due to safety issues
It is an issue
🤔

I used to visit Six Flags but didn’t like the unfriendly staff, sub par cleanliness and rough crowds that frequent the parks.

I am here now.

Maybe this photo I just snapped will sum up crowd levels….

It's not a safety issue as it could run as is. They want to see what exactly is wrong so they can fix it so the part lasts longer

Cedar Point begs to differ in your opinion it could run as is. They went the safety route and closed the ride shortly after the grand opening. I commend them.
