Is attendance really down at WDW this or…

It's not with new attractions any time soon. IMO they are banking on Epic Universe to draw people to Orlando and they get attendance from that.
I would expect panic development announcements coming the next few months.

They really don’t have any other options.
Doesn’t mean they actually are gonna build anything - they lie and the fans swallow it more often now than not - but they have a 3 headed monster on their hands.

One is their fault, one is Florida’s fault, and one is the fault of not taking Comcast seriously for long enough…soon enough

Look no further than the blue sky stuff and how much are eating that up.

In regards to Epic, The quickest thing they could do would be to get these parks back to circa 2000 entertainment. Get shiny new day parades in at least in two parks, night parades, get the Studios new shows all across the board, invest in World Showcase and "Future World" entertainment again, something of substance for AK, it goes on and on. HEA and Fantasmic are steps in the right direction! Let's keep going! Sometimes a few Streetmosphere actors can be more enjoyable than a new land. I'd take them over Batuu any day.

While it would help a bit I don't think it would be enough of a draw for your average guest. They need new attractions to combat Epic.

Which was an obvious hoax from the minute they put it on the screen above the stage

Slaphead and tightpants were in deep trouble…they had NOTHING because they misread the market…and they Hail Mary some non-committal nonsense…

Like selling magic beans.

Ironically…Iger doing 66 on chapek actually spared him from the full heat. It’s now on ego Bob.

You personal experience - day before most places are available. We just saw everything including roundup rodeo and Cali grill for tomorrow
Booked mine this morning and shouldn’t have bothered waking up early. Never had it so easy getting any time I wanted and we had some big hitters.. CRT, etc. Last summer it was very hard to get 6pm reservations on Halloween party nights, not hard at all this morning. Anecdotal but looking like a quieter summer.

You can get literally anything you want the day before…it’s actually been that way for years now.

Which is why that damn dining plan is coming back. They’re trying to get the customer to bail them out of their pricing mistakes…again. It worked before and don’t bet against it now.

Mostly, Space 220 fills more than 60 days out. Boathouse also tends to fill up right away.

I think they should have new stuff come ng but I don't think they need stuff for right when Epic opens. Sort of yield that year for that excitement.

Instead focus on making the parks easier to visit and provide a top shelf experience with great service, etc.

Basically get back in the good graces of your biggest fans AND make for a great and easy experience for folks coming down *for* Epic universe who will check out Disney while here. And have promotion for the new stuff coming the next 1-3 years to motivate them to come back

Some popular places still get fairly full ahead and especially if you have certain times you want to eat at booking further out helps.

Like we are looking at Storybook Dining and that seems pretty full but not impossible to book (like it felt like in the past) - but if you have some flexibility usually not too bad to find something most places

Almost all the people who know how to design proper entertainment from that time are retired, moved on to other competitors, or dead. I honestly believe nobody at WDI/DLE knows how to do it anymore unless they have Tokyo telling them what they want...
