Some hefty wait times at Disney’s Hollywood Studios today - Slinky 155mins, RnR 150mins, Rise 110mins, Toy Story Mania 90mins, Falcon 70mins, Runaway Railway 65mins
I thought no one is going to disney?

Those seem outrageously high. Interesting. How can something like Slinky, with a modern coaster efficiency have a higher wait than the low capacity Toy Story Mania?
Were there odd delays/weather delays today? I wonder what the actual wait times were for anyone there.
I know it was a three day holiday weekend for many in a tiny park void of many attractions it once had, but still.
Uni was very busy all weekend as well. Some was due to temp tech issues but Hulk had a 75 min wait on Friday Evening which is a people eater for coaster capacity and Kong, although not running all vehicles had near an hour wait posted, but actually waited around 25 minutes.
Florida does not recognize Columbus Day.Only the folks that live in the North East and recognize Columbus Day.
Florida does not recognize Columbus Day.
No, but some of us do and have the day off so will travel for the weekend
Other areas of the country have "fall break" now as well - I know friends who did a Disney cruise last week as their schools were closed for that break
No, you must be wrong. Otherwise, we wouldn't have this thread . . .Some hefty wait times at Disney’s Hollywood Studios today - Slinky 155mins, RnR 150mins, Rise 110mins, Toy Story Mania 90mins, Falcon 70mins, Runaway Railway 65mins
The park is busy right now but forecast is not. From what is being said that resorts are quiet as well as dining availability being wide open. Again WDW is more than just parks, resorts are a big part of it tooNo, you must be wrong. Otherwise, we wouldn't have this thread . . .
Been practicing that method for 40 years when skiing out west. Next best part to reducing the wait time is striking up conversations with all types of different people.Well, I just checked and I see the Swiss Family Treehouse only has a 5 minute wait, so all is not lost.
My wife and I discovered an apparently not well-known secret about avoiding standing in line for Smuggler's Run the other week. We tried the single rider line and we were warned that we'd be split up into different groups. Nope. We walked right up to where it merged with the Genie+ LL. There was no one coming from that line and so they let 6 of us at a time from the single rider line through. We did that several times in a row. I think the standby line posted wait was 30 minutes.
I've learned to avoid Columbus Day weekend for this very reason. Some hefty wait times at Disney’s Hollywood Studios today - Slinky 155mins, RnR 150mins, Rise 110mins, Toy Story Mania 90mins, Falcon 70mins, Runaway Railway 65mins
Toy Story Mania, with third track has an operational hourly capacity of 2,160. Slinky Dog's is only 1,296
Blame this guy. That is far too high a capacity for a coaster to have a two and a half hour wait, even on a Federal Holiday Monday.
