Here’s another data point courtesy of @gerarar who posts daily on the time it takes for GOTG to fill:

“1pm drop lasted for 9414.75 secs, or ~2 hours 37 mins.
Saturday 1pm Drop Average: 1hr 10m -> 1hr 12m (+2m)

Up to BG 72 called at 1pm, 3 more than yesterday.”

So a Saturday, of a holiday weekend, took over 2.5 hours to fill a VQ on a one year old ride, which is more than twice the time it normally takes.

So if this is how it is during “good” times before many of the discounts and enticements have kicked in, what’s it going to be if we ever are in a recession?
I’ve been asking that very question for close to 10 years

Discounts work…up to a point. If Disney prices are double what they need to be during a recession…do they discount 50-60%?

No…they can’t. That was always the danger of “bobonomics”

Side question: How long do you typically have to wait using the virtual queue once your bg has been called? Trying to decide between VQ and ILL for an upcoming trip.

It depends on how early you get it…

I had a 9:15 VQ for guardians today and we walked straight through

But the higher groups have to contend with the lighting lane slowing them…so later is a much longer line

$77 for two cardboard cheese pizza pies at Boardwalk Pizza.

Everything is fine here.

You could have ordered 2 extra large meat lover pizza pies from Dominos that feed 10 people for $32 and saved your money.
