I'm no fan of this expansion, but I think if the ride(s) are good, it won't matter what the franchise is. Sure it won't have the "omg harry potter world opened let's go now!" crowds, but it will draw in people because it's new and shiney. Now whether that will translate into a permanent attendence boost will remain to be seen in the years following it's opening. Even though I'm excited about the new nighttime stuff coming with or before Avatar, I really don't think this will make AK a full day park yet. It will just be more like DHS.

God bless the "Ignore" button.
It certainly was not. Were you there?

Or you continuing your Disney vs Uni stirring?
I don't even need to click the "View ignored content" button to know who you're talking to and that yes, he is.
Also that your question was rhetorical, though I answered it anyways.

Funny that. That's the only time I've used ignore. Keeping it switched off is like light comic relief.

Avatar is already done. Sure, they are doing three more movies but the initial wow factor many people had for whatever reason has likely worn off. The next movies will have good effects but everyone has seen them already so it won't be as big a deal. Then they will realize the movie has a poorly written set of characters and story and if that goes for the next three then who is going to care? Harry Potter had characters people cared about but can you name any of the characters in Avatar without looking them up?

They should have stayed with the mystical/fantasy creatures theme. It's a timeless theme (seriously, there have always been stories of creatures that don't exist on Earth) and dragons are always cool. Maybe add some fantasy movie stuff (or give Narnia a proper area rather than that weird room in Hollywood Studios they used to put people in just to watch a trailer) but keep it open ended so it won't go out of fashion in a few years.

Nu-uh! Harry Potter is just a fad and Avatar will win because it made more money than any individual Potter film! I know it's true because a guy on the internet dictates facts that haven't happened yet and go against all common sense!
