Ok, I can get by the fact that they have green ketchup...and purple ketchup for that matter...I mean...it's JUST a topping.

Green Eggs are made for a story purpose and to fit a theme...

but...

WHY ON EARTH WOULD ANYONE MAKE BLUE FRENCH FRIES???
I'm just curious...are there people who ask for these...
and...if not...

who sits around and says...Hmmm...I wonder how blue french fries would sell??? I want that guy's job!

Some kinda Jimmy Neutron tie-in I beleive. We've had Blue Fries. And as far as Purple Ketchup, my wife can't eat the stuff because of it's color.

I believe that they're going with the theory that these products will appeal to children and children influence what their parents buy...

I say.... "Whatever!"

I suppose it's time to end the thread drift (if we must! :animwink: )....

So can some explain to me about the "Green eggs and Ham" dish? I'm having a bit of trouble visualizing it! :)

I've never had one myself...but it's a sandwich :) (I'm assuming like an Egg McMuffin or something along those lines)

Thanks! :)

If I'm ever at IoA (which isn't very likely and I wouldn't expect it much  ) I'll have to gather up the courage to check it out!

I know I may get some flak about this...but I love IoA...The Port of Entry in my opinion is up there with the best of them (for entrance lands)...Suess landing is soooo well themed (they even trucked in Palm trees that were bent from Hurricane Andrew because there is not ONE straight line in Suess Landing). Marvel Super Hero Island has some really great attractions (Spider-man being the most impressive ride I've been on in a LONG TIME). Along with the other great "Islands"...this is a really fun park.

**WARNING**

Not a fun day for children who do NOT make the height requirements...although...I went with a 5 year old and he made it on almost everything.

The librarian at my son's school has a Green Eggs and Ham party every year. I've helped from time to time (my daughter attended the same school, so this is my 12th year there) and we added food coloring to scrambled eggs (while cooking them) So they were as green as the chef wanted them to be!

I think they've discontinued it because of the increasing numbers of children with allergies.

Mom-

Kewl story! I know I would've love a green eggs & ham b'fast as a kid!

WDWFREAK53 - Oh, I'm sure it really is a beautiful park and I'd really love to see it! It's just that DH won't ride anything there at all, and I wouldn't ride too much of it myself. I just really can't justify the expense of entering the park just to look around for a bit! :)

I just hate being financially challenged!!!

o.k. I'm back, I have taken a picture of my green egg and ham sandwich, but I can't post it just yet, cause I need time to organize everything at home and then upload my pictures (all 270 of them  ).

The egg itself is green, not the ham. I didn't like Green Eggs and Ham, I did not like them... I am what I am. My wife did love green eggs and ham, she loved them much, even if they're a scam. :animwink:

On the note of the park, I disagree it is very much worth a visit even if you do not ride thrill rides. As long as you like Jurassic Park, Cartoons from comics or Super Heros. I will go into more detail on my trip report, but we had a non thrill rider with us and he loved the place. We meet superheros, rode spider-man, Cat in the Hat, and Sinbad and Poseidon's Fury are two can't miss shows. My nephew had a blast meeting Popeye, Spider-man, and other characters. We got to try Green Eggs and Ham of course, and the One Fish Two Fish ride is a nice diversion as well. Storm Force looked like a fun family ride too, but it was not running the day I was there. So I definetly think you can get your money's worth. As an alternative I know you use to be able to get a shoppers pass for like an hour and a half or something, where you could get into the park for nothing, I'm not sure if this is still in effect, but it is worth checking out I think.
