The oldest-known living land animal is a tortoise named Jonathan, who is 187 years old. He was born in 1832 and has lived on the island of St. Helena in the Atlantic Ocean since 1882. (guinnessworldrecords.com)
Question? Where did he live from 1832 to 1882? How would we know for sure, did he show up on a census on ancestry.com? Did he leave a forwarding address at the Post Office of his previous home? As far as that goes by the time he made it to 187 years old, who would be around that would have witnessed his hatching and could verify it?

Hey, I'm just messing with you... I don't have a dog in this fight, it's just that when I read your post all those questions jumped up in my brain and I just let it flow. I don't really care or want to know. 🤔 😉
