From Wikipedia, Kenneth Carson (Ken) was introduced on March 11, 1961 which means that he is partial to older women, Barbie being two years older. Ken was introduced wearing only a bathing suit. Apparently Barbie was after only one thing, a boy toy.

In NH, a 1971 law was passed to regulate the size of the opening in sugar shakers, in restaurants. The opening must measure less than 3/8 of an inch.

The worlds heaviest man was Jon Brower Minnoch from the US who weighed in at 1400 lbs. He lost about half of that before his death at 41 years old.

Dear lord, unless I die on a golf course right after a hole in one I do NOT want to live that long. I'm not worried about that happening (living that long), but just the thought of it gives me a rash.

The Tonight Show had originated in 1951 in Los Angeles as a radio program hosted by Steve Allen. In 1954, the program moved to TV.
Experiments in universities have actually been carried out to figure out how many licks it takes to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop, both with machine and human lickers (because this is important scientific knowledge!). The results ranged from 252 to 411. (tootsie.com)
