80ft is correct. Max speed is 55mph.

The only other "stat" thats been given is that the max track height is 120ft.

The "length" of the track would be misleading because the attraction goes both forward and backward.

Where did you get 55 mph? All the sites say 50 mph. And would the official length be counting forward and backward tracks? Because for S:TE at Six Flags, the official length is 1700 ft, which counts both forward/backward. So I'm estimating that E.E will be around 5000 ft? Also, will there be anything new built at Animal Kingdom after E.E. Everybody is hoping for a new land or at least a few new E-ticket attractions. Animal Kingdom is short on E-ticket attractions at just 3 right now while MK has like 7.

Joe Rohde and another person I've talked to who is working at EE have confirmed 55mph at the bototm of the hill.

Will Animal Kingdom have any new E-ticket attractions within the next 5 years?
And the WDWMagic site should change the info there for the max speed for E.E The site lists it as 50 mph when you guys are sure its 55 mph. Someone should tell them.

I don't mean to sound snotty, but shouldn't it be satisfying right now to just be getting E:E? I mean it is going to be one of the best new attractions that have been built recently. Let's not get too far ahead of ourselves, it's not even open yet.

Do you think it will be the best attraction at Walt Disney World?

From what we have heard about the ride, (detail, backstory, etc..,) yes is should be one of the best rides in WDW. I would say AK doesn't really NEED a new E-ticket, they need another animal walk through exhibit or a C-ticket level dark ride or something of the like. Animal Kingdoms E-tickets are among the best in WDW, KS, ITTBAB, and Dinosaur are all excellent attractions, as well as their stage shows. AK doesn't really NEED an E-ticket right away, because E:E will boost attendance for AK, they just need a high quality dark ride.

But do you think E.E will be the #1 ride in WDW? Even better than Splash Mountain and Tower of Terror? Also, how do you classify E-tickets rides to D or C ticket ones? Is it by popularity? Does that mean the E ticket rides at AK are
1. Expedition Everest
2. Killimanjaro Safaris
3. Dinosaur
4. Kali River Rapids

And the D- tickets are?
1. ITTBAB
2. Primeval Whirl

Am I right?

You guys are so incredibly lucky. To actually have "the man" in person-telling YOU stories and talking 1 on 1 in a casual atmosphere for HOURS, in a word priceless. Insane.

Paul, to answer your question. Harry Potter is going to be built in place of the Indy show, and back between RnRC and ToT is where the Indy ride will be built, therefore keeping all the big rides in one area. The 5th gate will not be built until the new roadway is completed, and at that time they will begin construction on the parking lot and after that, the actual park. Bald Mountain, possibly after EE is done, or they may just rename it to that like they did with Countdown to Exticintion (now Dinosaur). The monorail expansion...won't happen until they get the 5th gate going, and it will then start to expand to connect that park to the Epcot and MK lines! ;)

I think that's all for now.

Thanks for clearing all of that up. It has been weighing heavy on my mind.... :lookaroun :D

well.. the old Compy is dead as a doornail. I gotta replace the power supply before i can even think of getting it booted up... and I don't wanna deal with pulling the HDD out and connecting it to this compy right now

[off topic]
Semi-easier way to get it done. It will certainly beat putting the hard drive into your new computer, moving jumpers, or worrying about if you have SATA or IDE.

Get yourself an IDE-to-USB hard drive cable kit. Do a google search, you can find them for as cheap as $15. Comes with simple AC power supply and the adapter cable. Take the drive out, plug the old drive into any USB port on another computer, and PRESTO!, you have your data.

Use them all the time in the IT business when getting old workstations swapped out.

[back on topic] :p

...yeah because the difference between 50 mph and 55 mph is so extreme!
