Its people like you that will be disappointed. You already think it will be the best ride at WDW, and its still 4 months or more from soft opening.

Absolutely correct, Thrawn. Yes, Everest will be fun, but people need to be realistic. This isn't the comming of the mesiah. It's a theme park attraction. Building expectations to such an unrealistically elevated level will only lead to disappointment.

Let the poor kid get excited, will ya.

You haven't been here for the "Mission: Space sucks!" and "Soarin sucks!" bombardments. So no, I won't let him get excited to the point where all he can be is disappointed.

actually, he has. His register date was in Dec 2002. M:S opened in mid 2003, and Soarin opened in Spring 2005.

Anyway... let the kid get excited. For every person that thinks it sucks, its one less person in front of me in line.

where is this adventure club i hear you talk about anyways.

It is a skit comedy club at Pleasure Island. If you are over 21, you need to go on your next trip. You won't regret it.

Adv Club is an all ages club.... you dont have to be merely 21.... Of course i'd like it to be 18 and up, because its really not any fun to be loaded (the only way to go out into the jungle) and turn around and see a 5 year old. Unless he's british, then he's buying....

Yes, but it isn't quite as fun unless you are drinking. Plus, you need a person over 21 to get you in, I believe.

I'm 19 and don't have anyone getting me in. You have to be 18 to get in there (if I remember correctly), but if you are under the age of 18, someone that is 21 or over has to get you in.

He's already said he's not going back to WDW for another 3 years or so. So if in approx. 3 years you see a post titled "EE sucks" started by him, just avoid it like the plague.

As far as those saying, "wow, this ride is really getting a lot of hype." NO! Look at where your impression of this hype is coming from. If you were like a great deal of the population and never logged into any Disney fansite, you'd likely have no idea what Expedition Everest even is. The ride is getting hyped because you're choosing to hype it.

I don't understand the need to know every single little detail about the ride. Do you want to know every minor detail about a movie before you go watch it. All the twists and turns the plot might take? Part of the fun of any ride is experiencing it for the first time and being surprised at what it does. Is a coaster going to be any more fun at 6000 feet than it is at 3000-4000? Leave some suspense for yourself. It will likely be more fun that way. I read very little about Mission Space before it opened and had absolutely no disappointment with it the way some people on here describe about how they were expecting something different out of the ride portion.
