Inferno Barge Missing From Illuminations

Saw Illuminations tonight. The Inferno Barge was in full force. One thing I found strange was that the Earth Globe was on the lagoon all day. Is that normal? I thought it was brought out in the middle of the show?

I've seen a few times where the Globe was out in the middle of the lagoon during setup, but by the time showtime came around they had moved it to its usual starting location by American Gardens (without me seeing when it was that they actually moved it).

I haven't figured out any rhyme or reason for it, though. Was it windy? Perhaps if there's high winds they'd rather have it anchored in the middle of the lagoon rather than along the shore where it might be more liable to drift into something in the wind?

I beleive they do this when the American Gardens Theater is holding an event, and they don't want the Earth barge loaded with pyro near to the theater. They regularly do this during Food and Wine and F&G.

That may be. Though I've sat in the AG theater for the final performance of the night of Candlelight Processional, and the globe was parked next-door. (That CP performance ends maybe 15-20 minutes before RoE).

^ Yep, good thought, but we say Slippery When Wet last summer at the Theatre and had to miss the last show to get a position for RoE. The Globe was docked as usual.

Yeah I dont know what the exact parameters are for not docking by AA, but the most common time to see it not there is during Candelight and any of the concerts.

ROE News coming in from Krank tonight...

He said the show WITH the Inferno Barge was spot on perfect save for the two bursts of gold and multicolored bursts at the beginning of Adventure. He said that Celebration was very perfect and so was WGO. Good news!:D

So was that just in terms of proper pyro types?
Or are we talking about perfect cue timing as well?

Is it tomorrow yet???

PLEASE say the red floaters in Chaos are back to how they were designed timing wise.

And everything else.

He didn't notice anything was up with Chaos...:(

I guess that means the same stuff as before. Lots of different types of pyro, also.

Exactly EE. Everything was synced up really well and the inferno barge was going all out.

Unfortunately, proper pyro wasn'tin place. They still seem to be using whatever they have.

I'd be thrilled to see Celebration synched back-up again -- the large blue/silver bursts higher in the air, when all four go off together, is my fave part.
