It's funny that people on here and numerous other blogs and social media think Disney is number 1. Disney is playing every single one of us and we fall for it year after year. I haven't even gotten my AP refund they claimed I was getting 6 weeks ago.
Disney is #1 in my book. Universal has been a hard #2 in my butt for years. I wont go there anymore.
Also what an ironic username you have...

My map and everything has been the same, nothing has been updated. The park hours have been being removed week by week. A week ago the same information appeared but through June 7th.

One of these days, Disney will just announced the opening date for Disney World, Disney Anaheim, Tokyo Disney, Hong Kong Disney and Disney Paris all at the same time. If we're lucky even Disney Cruise.

It is indeed very likely that before a park is opened for business there will be an announcement preceding it.

I really don't understand the idea that Disney cares what Universal is doing, other than they're going to wait and see what Universal looks like when they open with crowd management, virtual queues etc. In fact I think it's an advantage for Disney to stay closed and watch that experiment play out.

Other than that, Disney is going to do things at their own pace. Yes, Disney is losing money when they're not open, but opening too early could be worse if not done properly.

@WDW Pro - Any truth? You’re the expert.

Disney hasn't even submitted a requisite plan to the state government. There's also strong opposition at multiple levels to reopening just before the fourth of July due to holiday expectations that shouldn't happen (packing people in for fireworks). Still, Universal came in about three weeks earlier than D'Amaro thought, so we'll have to wait. The various options are now with the top four decision makers for the parks, and leaks or early info is very unlikely from this point unless it comes from the governor side... but that would be weird as well.

It’s a good thing Universal is putting some pressure on Disney to stop sitting on the fence and start making some decisions. Granted I’m totally against a restricted reopen with mask requirements I still think Disney needs to get their act together and reopen.

Isn't that a double negative? You're against masks when they re-open but they need to re-open anyway.
