Indiana Jones Land?

I hated The Book Of Boba Fett and not going crazy over the latest season of The Mandalorian either.

Oh yeah, I definitely agree about Boba Fett. It was so lame and the main actor should have just been the voice of the character. His body didn't matchup with Jedi at all.

I think Mando has been real good though, except for the filler episode. That one episode felt like Anbore.

It is wild! I obviously want it to be Top Gun: Maverick good, but I honestly am most interested in it convincing them to make a land at AK or HWS. :D
Uni is missing the boat on buying the theme park rights to Top Gun and building a launch coaster with an AA Tom Cruise and Val Kilmer at the end saying “you can be my wingman anytime.”

The Paramount parks all had Top Gun coasters back in the day, even though they were all rethemef when CF dropped the license. To this day the song that starts my Kings Island Playlists is Danger Zone.

I can see it now. The facade is themed to the hangar in Miramar. You’re a Top Gun student. Then, you’re called to action. A pre show themed to some military plane or helicopter takes you to the load area, themed to the flight deck of an aircraft carrier. Boom.

If something ever comes into fruition in regard to building an indy ride, water definitely needs to play a big part of it. The studio park is absolutely screaming for water based rides!
DHS: No water rides
USF: No water rides
USH: One water ride

What about a studio park screams water ride?

WDSP: One (next year)
USJ: Three
USS: One, was Two till 2022
USB: One
Warner Bros Movie World: One
Warner Bros Movie World Abu Dhabi: One
Warner Bros Madrid: Three
Motiongate Dubai: One
Movie Park Germany: Five

And of course USF had two until Jaws shut down, and one minor one until Fieval’s shut down this year.

Seems like the US Studio parks are the odd ones out.

I was responding to someone who insisted all studio parks have water rides.

My apologies for the snark 👍

So back on topic, regardless whether it's a water based attraction like a boat ride/flume, or something like a rapids ride, or a ride/show that just has an element where you may get a little wet, the parks need a little more variety in regard to the types of attraction line-ups it has.

Water rides are not really drivers anymore. I’m sure Disney doesn’t like the level of discomfort for customers they create and it isn’t good for in park revenue generation.

I’m actually really surprised universal built volcano bay…but they were building a week long complex as Disney did 30 years ago…so their strategic goal made a water park more advantageous.

Not really sure this is the case, given that the DAK Moanaland concept art from D23 shows what looks to be a flume ride. If water rides were abjectly bad for park revenue, why would Disney even begin to consider building one? Florida is hot as all hell during peak travel seasons, remember.

and honestly Kali and Splash Mountain have huge rides all year long...So yeah, people still like water rides... I think another in AK would be great, a Rapids ride for the New Frontierland behind BTMRR, and something for the Studios.
