I'm guessing they're going to reconfigure Indy's queue entrance so it doesn't block traffic like it always does.I have to assume this is more a necessity for the treehouse?
They have been known to cut back on maintenance and repairs before they retheme a rideIndy is in super sad shape. Rode it 3 times in the past year. When it isn't down, at least 50% of the effects aren't working, and still nearly guaranteed to get stuck for a few minutes before pulling back in to unload.
Last 2 visits the ride was only up for 2 or 3 hours each day.
Name one example besides Splash Mountain, which has been in bad shape for a decade, long before the retheme was planned. This theory that Indiana Jones is going to be completely rethemed to Indy 5 in a manner of half a year makes no sense. They have been known to cut back on maintenance and repairs before they retheme a ride
Exactly. It took them nearly a year to glue macaroni to the Tower of Terror.Name one example besides Splash Mountain, which has been in bad shape for a decade, long before the retheme was planned. It was a joke. I don’t expect a retheme for Indy, and I was teasing those who do with a line we hear all the time about Splash Mountain.Name one example besides Splash Mountain, which has been in bad shape for a decade, long before the retheme was planned. Test track was sponsored and continues to this day. I don’t remember any changes in maintenance it was just very dated by 2011It was a joke. I don’t expect a retheme for Indy, and I was teasing those who do with a line we hear all the time about Splash Mountain.
But since you asked, here are several examples of Disney cutting back on attraction maintenance before a retheme that come to mind:
Also, many (most?) of these initially closed for a short refurbishment, only to lay dormant for a long while. I don’t expect this to happen w/Indy either, but it’s pretty common for them to turn a short/temporary closure into a long or even permanent one.

I like the rockwork, but it's like they asked themselves, "what's the lest comfortable thing for sitting we could possibly build?"
I guess it was equally hostileI think that was the point. They don’t want people sitting there. What did it look like before? I don’t remember
Thanks for this. I was trying to figure out why the new rocks "looked weird". They are just a different color that I'm not used to.
