Yeah, I wrote about it in the other thread and people said "Where's the spoiler warning?" I guess it's alright to now talk about it 3 days later.

Difference is this is pushed out in a media post authorized by Disney themselves, versus you pushing something you found on some reddit post which Disney didn't authorize.

But really all of it should have a spoiler tag if we're being honest.

As I said in my post, this is Disney authorized information. So while its best to have it under a spoiler tag until the movie is released, its not some reddit group based leak information which is what other posts have been about.

i’d rather they don’t pass the mantle to anyone. indy is a great character. i hope they just let him have 1 final adventure, please don’t kill him off, & give the series a proper closure.

I actually see a lot of similarities in the action to past films. This time with some True Lives-inspired horse action.

Not crazy about the title and whatever that score was. Final gag’s nice. De-aged Ford looks impressive. Daytime parade scenes looked too digital to my eyes.

Still hard to believe they’re doing this one without Spielberg directing.

I mean, I just think it's inherently ridiculous to have an Indy 5 when Ford is well into his '80s. So I kind of get swapping directors- Mangold did an incredible job with an oldish Wolverine in Logan, and will probably be able to adjust the Indiana Jones character to fit an older Ford.

The trailer looks good. I think the visuals look a lot better than crystal skull. I'll be curious to see what the full story trailer tells us about the plot. As it stands we got some good Indy visuals but not a lot in the story department. I'm unfortunately a bit cautious as Disney has done pretty well with trailers looking good and then the movie is disappointing. I'm looking at you ep8 & 9. I do think it's a safe bet that they pass the mantle to someone new. This is Disney and they aren't just going to make one Indy film.

The one thing that sticks out to me with the young Indy is "WHY THE HELL COULDN'T THEY HAVE HAD JUST ONE SCENE IN THE SW SEQUELS WITH LUKE, LEIA, AND HAN IN A FLASHBACK!?!?!?!?!"

It would be interesting if the iconic fedora is passed to an Indiana Jane. Could go in the direction of Tomb Raider-Ish adventures. Lots of possibilities.

Yeah but Phoebe Waller-Bridge isn't sexy. She is no Angelina Jolie or even Alicia Vikander.
