Incident At Saratoga?

We just got back from an awesome week at WDW. As new DVC members, we stayed at Saratoga for the first time and very much enjoyed it. As we returned to Saratoga from MK Monday night at about 11:30pm, we saw several vehicles with flashing lights and lots of Disney security. After exiting the bus, some young people walking from the pool told us that they heard the security was a result of someone who was mugged or attacked on site. Did anyone else hear of an incident at Saratoga Monday evening?

I would highly doubt it. If someone were mugged or attacked, a few young people wouldn't probably hear about it. More likely it was a domestic dispute or an injury of some type.

Just my 2 cents.

hopefully they were removing a person who complains and whines about the closure of P.I.
Heck, just a whiner is god enough reason for removal.

Could be anything really. Hopefully it was only a case of someone needing calming down and nothing serious happened.

If something serious had happened we'd have heard about it in the Orlando press. They love to leap all over the parks when something occurs.

I hope that everyone was safe and okay after any type of incident. I have always felt safe at SSR, personally.

In January, after the marathon, I was back soon after crossing the finish in the hot tub - but a runner who didn't fare so well got very ill in the Restroom near High Rock Springs Pool. Emergency vehicles were there in a snap and everything worked out just fine. I was surprised at all the response for a single sick woman, so maybe this incident was nothing more than a small event. They tend to over-respond at WDW.

I sincerely doubt it was a "whiner". They would just toss them over the rail into Lake Buena Vista for a visit to Davy Jones' Locker.

Ho ho ho-- Disney are awfully good at covering things up, especially if they happen at a resort, and I'm speaking from personal experience here.

Hopefully they tased some bro who likes to whine and complain about other people's supposedly whiny complaints. Folks like that want negative attention, give it to 'em until it tingles. Heck, if they recorded that, I'd buy it. Irony: It's not just for breakfast anymore.

Last Jan when we were there was two busses that kinda drove into each other in the carosel park loading zone. It was late so there was like no one on them. We were on the 3rd bus pulling in. But they had all kinds of security and such.

We were amused at first but then became concerned "like what would of happened if there were a lot of people on the bus?"
