Inappropriate Behavior

Another thread talking about the observation deck at the Contemporary reminded me of an experience last year when my wife and I had dinner at the California Grill and went out on the observation deck.

A couple was having ______ in the stairwell for all to see. If felt so bad for the people who had children out the the deck. It was disgusting, they were not hormonal teenagers either. A couple in their 40s, who looked very fancy and professional (when everyone got a closer look at them in the restaurant after the "fireworks"). I don't think anyone said anything to a CM and I wondered how that would all play out if I said something. I mean that is embarrassing for all who saw and I remember how upset we all were. I know everyone was thinking "How dare they desecrate Disney." I don't think it was so embarrassing for those in the act.

What would a CM do in that situation? What are the penalties for behavior like that? Anyone have similar stories?

Funny side note: When he heard someone coming up the stairs he knocked the poor lady off him onto the concrete stairwell. What a gentleman.

I would imagine they'd get hit with indecent exposure, and probably some kind of lewd and lacivious conduct.

Probably would end in big fines, and time served, I'm guessing.

First, I want to say that I'm all for people keeping their ______ lives fresh and exciting, but to do it in a place where anyone could see them is beyond the realm of good taste. I don't care if it's WDW or a shopping mall, if you're going to do something like that at least try to find a place that is more secluded. That's just my opinion though. To me it has nothing to do with it being "desecrating Disney". It's about common decency. Go find a nearby family bathroom or a broom closet. I'm sure many would have a problem with that too, but it's better than out in the open.

*EDIT* Seriously? You kidding me??? The filters catch the word s3x spelled properly and edit's them???? It's a word used in school text books and on tv!!!!!!!!! RIDICULOUS!!!!

Why do people like yourself have to get so upset about the filter? The only thing ridiculous here is your whining. The censor is in place for a very good reason. I've got over 13 years and 4 million posts of experience with this.

I think that if it were me, I would've gone, gotten a tub of popcorn, sat quietly, watched, and then applauded when it was done...:lookaroun

Usually loud applause is enough to shame most people into stopping. If a CM had gotten security/police involved they could have had some trouble depending on what was really seen. I.E. exposure in front of kids in some states can land you as a registered offender, even if it was for a much lesser example than the OP described.

Wow, that was rude!! Sorry if you think I was "whining", but your response was rude.

My point is that the sensor seems to be a bit sensitive. Have you ever heard someone refer to it as the "S" word?? I'm guessing not because it's not a curse, or a "dirty word".

Let it go. It was censored because those are (in part) the rules applied in this forum. If you don't care for that rule (or others), you have alternatives....

Lets not jump to conclusions. Quite possibly his medication kicked in and he had to seize the moment. :D

All seriousness, if it makes the viewer uncomfortable, just think if everyone started cheering for them. Turn the tables. I would have obviously gone the other direction if my kids were with me though.

Yes, but a forum cant tell what context the user means it.

Just because Steve doesnt kiss your butt over the situation doesnt mean he is being rude. I think his tone is actually quite nice considering your EDIT post. Might want to go back and read that again. It is his forum. If he wants to ban the word so be it.
