Inappropriate Behavior

I really think I would have confronted them. Asked if they needed help. Do you need someone to hold your purse. Do you need the name of a good dry cleaner? etc.

Can people really not resist their urges that badly. It is in an open stairwell, on a rooftop, during a time when dozens of people are out on that rooftop.

If ging on top of the Contemporary is one of your goals in life, then do it when less people are around. If it was that much passion that it could not wait, as someone else said, find a broom closet or the linen hamper.

Maybe next time I am up there, someone will decide to drop a duce over the edge. Hey why not? It's all good right? Do whatever you want.

OMG. I would be laughing so hard I would cry. Yes, that is the most immature and gross thing, but it would own me.

It's only wrong if the couple were ugly.

Another thread talking about the observation deck at the Contemporary reminded me of an experience last year when my wife and I had dinner at the California Grill and went out on the observation deck.

A couple was having ______ in the stairwell for all to see. If felt so bad for the people who had children out the the deck. It was disgusting, they were not hormonal teenagers either. A couple in their 40s, who looked very fancy and professional (when everyone got a closer look at them in the restaurant after the "fireworks"). I don't think anyone said anything to a CM and I wondered how that would all play out if I said something. I mean that is embarrassing for all who saw and I remember how upset we all were. I know everyone was thinking "How dare they desecrate Disney." I don't think it was so embarrassing for those in the act.

What would a CM do in that situation? What are the penalties for behavior like that? Anyone have similar stories?

Funny side note: When he heard someone coming up the stairs he knocked the poor lady off him onto the concrete stairwell. What a gentleman.
maybe they were going for the duck

The reason people do things like that is they're like little kids craving attention.

Who cares? They're just loser idiots. Is it really worth giving them the satisfaction of talking about them?

Never in a stairwell for me... Pool table, hood of the car, beach (which is NOT fun.. sand everywhere)... Maybe this december...

Wow, "doing it" anywhere where other people will be is disgusting. I personally don't want to be slipping on other people's bodily fluids when I'm out in public.

They probably would have enjoyed that. Actually someone should have given them a golden shower and seen how they responded since it seems they're a bit kinky.

Lol, justice! That's about as bad as you can make it for somebody trying to "get it on," but if they enjoyed it, there's not much else you can do to them.

I'm almost sorry I started this thread.... almost.

But then none of us would know how it is "on top of the world"

I wonder how many times this actually occured there in the free-swinging 1970's! This was a nightclub with legends performing there on a regualr basis

Yeah, I don't think Pat Boone would inspire any stairwell love. Maybe he'd inspire throwing yourself off it.

But Engelbert Humperdinck on the other hand...

Well on Kilimajaro Safaris a couple of times I've seen some animals doing what they had to do. It's hillarious to hear what the parents tell their kids.

But this is just a lil crazy. I mean if you were really in the moment I'm sure they had a car for that. But in front of the kids like that come on son.

Well I've hit 900 post. Once I hit 1,000 I'll "retire" from posting.

Does your word mean anything? You're like the old guy who retires but keeps showing up at work anyway.
