Normally it's a toss up between Epcot and Animal Kingdom as the first park to visit.
Strangely on our last trip earlier this year out of a fourteen day trip we were only at Magic Kingdom for 1 and a half days and Hollywood Studios for half a day, would have stayed at the Studios longer but it turned out by the time we arrived all Fastpasses for Toy Story were gone and Fantasmic wasn't on so there was no point in staying. So I haven't ridden Toy Story yet not that I'm that bothered about it because we did spend four days at Universal and got to ride Men in Black.

I try to make it when the extra magic hours are but I always try to end my vacation/trip at Magic Kingdom and stay until wishes. Truly lets me know that it is all over. :cry:

My usual trip is this:

Ya gotta start with MK. So that is the first evening we arrive. In addition to this we always end up veering off to the left into Adventureland 1st.
Next day is EPCOT
Day 3 is AK in AM and HS in PM
After this we just mix it up depending on reservations and sponatniety. But I like to set foot in each park at least 3-4 times.

We always start with MK, then depends on crowds, weather etc, but we spend a lot of time dipping in and out of Epcot from the Beach Club.

My advice just go at your own pace and don't follow a schedual..Just go and have a blast..Also since you have WP&M option try to squeeze DisneyQuest in there..You have 8 days and if your stuck not doing anything it's a nice chance to cool off play some games and relax.

I completely agree with this. Although we alway hit the Magic Kingdom on our first day at the park, we just roll with the punches from there on out.

No matter what you decide to do, you'll have so much fun! enjoy your trip

hi:ROFLOL::ROFLOL::ROFLOL::ROFLOL::ROFLOL:
im going along with my girlfriend and 2year old daughter to wdw for 8 days

next week and i wanted to know in what order is the best to visit the parks>

we have the water park option and hopped option???

thanks for the help:xmas::xmas::xmas:

The key thing is have a great time. Most people I know have a planner of some description, otherwise I doubt you will hit everything that you want to see.

Look out for the opening hours. For example DS seems to open longer on Tuesdays and Thursdays in August. Also if you are in a resort hotel, look for the extra magic hours. This is a great way of visiting the parks AM and PM without huge queues.

This year I am following the order below:

MK, EPCOT, BB, DS, TL, AK, MK

We always try to start and end with MK, becuase in our opinion that is where the magic lives. :wave:

This is my DH first trip to disney and mine for an absolute age (19 years and bearing in mind I'm only 28), so it has to be MK first! I don't think a first trip to WDW is official until you see the castle!
I think I might :cry: when I do ! :)

i would go by the extra magic hours to get the most time at the park. But watch if you want to see fantasmic at hollywood studios you will have to plan a day that it is playing. I didnt realize until it was too late that the days i picked to go to hollywood that fantasmic wasnt on that day. But i always go by the extra magic hours. For my 7 day trip i did each park twice except animal

It often depends on what time I arrive and what time the parks are open to. Usually Epcot or the Studios. However, I always visit two parks in a day, and Epcot is ALWAYS one of the on my first day. I LOVE the Animal Kingdom, but it is usually the last park I schedule a visit to.
