I was wondering if anyone has heard of any important people visiting the Disney parks...

I know I've heard of Nixon and Princess Di... I was there when Princess Stephanie was there with her kids....

I've always wondered if the Dali Lama ever went to Disney....

Does anyone know of any others??????

I'll be in Disney in September and I think that I'm pretty important:wave:

You'll know it's me because I'll be the one grinning like an idiot!

All kidding aside, I doubt the Dali Lama ever went to Disney, but that would be pretty cool. Maybe the Pope, too....

I think every president since 1971 has been down to Disney, and usually some foreign leaders will go there too. I think the president of Brazil was down there a few years ago. Famous astronauts have been there too, and of course Hollywood stars always visit, though obviously not as often as they visit Disneyland.

Nixon's visit in 1972 or 1973 was where he uttered his famous "I am not a crook."

I was introduced to the Emperor of China. His guest relation host was named Dong....true story!

I called Vincent Denofrio's boy a "beatiful girl with wonderful hair"

I had to get Kelly Ripas Gucci sunglasses off the track at Buzz causing an intrusion...:brick:

I yelled at Eve's GR and then told her husband he is a big boy and shouldn't be scared of any aliens at Disney.

I watched Shaq get int the Astro evevators. He had to duck.

I got to see a lot of people mad when they wouldn't let anyone in space cause Michael Jackson was in there with his kids. Then I saw Mr Jackson

I watched as Eddie Murphy's wife reconfirm to the GR that Eddie will want to do what his kids want to do. (Even though he wont ride coasters he followed)

I get to see Randy and Al a lot. Them and there forging my re-entries....:drevil:

I saw this one boy David working at Space mountain then at Buzz on the same day once.

I saw my friend Drew dressed in a pink bunny costume

My friend sat behind Michael Jordon on Big Thunder Mountain.

And they could see??? That's like sitting behind the lady with the big hat at the movies......

Anyone else?????

No one's found the Dali Lama yet?

Dinner in Epcot with someone...

Wife, Mother in Law, kids, and myself sat down at the Japanese Teppanyaki restaurant (name escapes me...) and the other family at our table had two teenage girls.

At some point during the evening, this kids walked in with two girlfriends and the two girls at our table started going nuts. Don't know who he was, but they sure did. Man, did I feel old...

Also, the Miss America/Universe/Something or other pagaent at Epcot with my wife on my honeymoon... a long day of trying to not look!:p

Here is a photo I took of former U.S. president Jimmy Carter at the Magic Kingdom.

http://photoalbums.wdwmagic.com/showphoto.php?photo=18800&ppuser=10780

Pres. Carter is standing to Mickey's left (you'll have to take my word for it, unless you have the software the CSI guys have  ) Do you see the guy in the long sleeves with the khaki vest, standing up by the fence, but looking toward the crowd instead of looking toward the dignitaries? He was secret service. Later that day, we were just getting in line for Its a Small World when the former president came through with his escorts, and the machine gun under that guy's vest was impressive!

p.s. - sorry, I couldn't get that photo to save as an attachment. :(

During the week I was there in late March, Jon Bon Jovi was there. As a matter of fact, he was 1 table over from us at the Crystal Palace breakfast buffet in MK

I wonder if Di visited the British pavillion in WS?

Despite all the jokes about British food, the pub there is my favorite restaurant in WS.

does anyone remember the celebrity who somewhat recently said that paparazzi wouldn't leave her and her kids alone and that other guests stuck up for her? they were yelling at the photogs and trying to block their view. everyone deserves a nice family vacation! renee
