Please tell Jedimaster... Will you do it for a Scooby Snack? I PM'd you, but still, there's a bunch of people here who want to know regardless of the potential pants crapping or heart troubles.

This just in:

They're going to a build a model of Tokyo in 3/4" scale upstairs in the glas pyramids. Every 45mins Figzilla will attack the city, causing imaginative destruction, and then proceed to battle one of the Tapestry parade puppets for control of the city. :)

**** yeah! And have Dreamfinder as the Scientist hero guy, the Dreamseekers as his crew of assistants with Elfin as the spunky scientist's daughter character. And have Figzilla and the Tapestry puppets team up against a true monstrous horror.... MECHA EISNER!
EDIT: Oh! And have the Sage of Time in the Isayama role (a mysterious old hermit man who warns people about the oncoming wrath of Godzilla in the movie GMK. He summons up guardian monsters to fight Godzilla off and he's revealed to be only a ghost of a man who died in the original Godzilla attack)

Sounds good so far, but I won't believe it till I see it in person (or on the internet, or hear about a lot, or have it confirmed).:p
EDIT: Now that I think about it, what exactly was the rainbow tunnel?

The Rainbow Corridor (It knows you're there!) was a tunnel in the ImageWorks filled with all sorts of swirling colored lights, with each person going through having a certain color following them.

Wow!!! This is amazing news!!

I was actually thinking about taking the Undiscovered Future World Tour next time I'm at WDW just to see Imagination's Upstairs again, but maybe I won't have to!!
:sohappy:

I hope all of this stuff comes true!!

Just bring back the rainbow tunnel. That's all I'm asking.

I walked through it a few days ago, so it definitely wouldn't take much work to bring it back (and I hope they do). Though, as someone else mentioned, it is in somewhat of a sleep mode, so I'm not sure how much work it would take to have it fully operational again. The pintables are also still up there, along with most of the other props, come to think of it.

As far as what the rest of the area is going to be used for, I've heard a few rumors, all of which are interesting. Whatever it is, WDI had better find a way to convince guests to go upstairs to see it. The reason Imageworks was moved downstairs in the first place was because people weren't going upstairs to check it out (though I would take the original Imageworks over the current one), just as people never went upstairs in Mousegear (back when Mousegear had an upstairs), even when they put Mickey Mouse himself up there!

This is an infrastructure installation for the new self-guided tour that will feature Kim Possible at the conclusion.

Get ready to boot up your Kim-unicators!

Thanks for the info, though I have to say that it must have been one of those "had to be there" things.

I must admit that I have to agree here. However, the old Image Works was much more entertaining than the current setup, IMO.

The whole pavilion was

But the upstairs has been closed to the masses for ages... I'd like to see it reopen to everyone (likewise with the Odyssey...etc).

However, I just dont see the big deal with the neon tunnel. *shrug* IMO, of course. :)

I'd be happy if they just put a classy little restaurant up there so you could look out over the park.
