I'm useless

in 4.5 days we leave.. in 8.5 we check into Pop.. I am completely useless for anything other than obsessing about Disney and this trip. Please tell me I am not the only one that gets like this??

We leave in a little over 2 days...check in to the Contemporary in a little over 4 days...my car was in an accident and may be ready on time so I'm doing last minute details in both plan a and plan b mode...I have a car cake to sculpt and cover tonight that weighs more than my 2 yr old and almost as much as my nearly 5 yr old...and today is my birthday---------YET I'm expected to pull a full load at work It's just not happening...for I too am useless unless it's trip related or bday related!

I cut our cake orders off already. I wanted a full week without having to worry about a cake while getting everything else ready. It give you credit...way to much stress for me! :lol:

Nope you are not alone. I think the last few days before the vacation is always a my brain is not working mode sort of days. I can't seem to concentrate on anything besides vacation.....so I totally hear you. But I hope you have a blast!

Oh I hear ya there!!! We have 9 days to go before we leave ,but before that we have our two girls birthday party this Saturday
....I think the only thing keeping me sane (if you'd call it that) is that I've been in the "party mode" cleaning like a freak( more than norm because family and friends are coming and yes they might notice the dust on top of the fridge lol) planning what to cook, make a Hello Kitty cake( thank God i made the figures last week) Friday nite Sometime wrap some presents
......You know Nothing big....LOL I am going to need a very big "happy beverage" come saturday nite!!! But the girls already got their vacation/school hair cuts mine is today , color next week...Yeah I'm getting there! But its nice to say we leave next week, real nice.....And saturday we can do the "this time next week we'll be ".......
And yes Spaceship Earth Ride loop playing in my car LOVE IT!!!!

I think the best word to describe is FRAZZLED!!

Me too! I can check in online Monday, then the long ten days till we arrive at POR. I look at the whole Planning a Disney Trip as steps:

• Make the Disney Reservation
• Find and book affordable flights to MCO
• Research and decide where we want to eat
• Book ADR's 180 days out
• 45 days out, make final payment
• Wait for the Magical Express pacakge
• Wait of the Voucher pack and luggage tags
• 10 days out, Online Check-in.
• After that is the long wait till the 4 am ride to the airport.

Now I almost out of steps, AAARRRGGGHHH!!!
I spend alot of my free time here on the boards because I want to be there now.
Time goes too slow when your waiting to get there, then it passes way too fast then you are there.
