Trip Report I'm Tagging Along ~ LIVE! *COMPLETED*

Almost everybody has one ~ a friend or relative who doesn't think twice about inviting his/her self along with whatever you have planned.

I never thought I'd be that person.

Fortunately, I have a very understanding family who is actually excited about my joining them at WDW. < Phew! >

It's been a year since my last live trip report, so I hope I can do @JenniferS and her fans proud!

The MPB is a staple on our trips, we generally even use it to hop from one side of the park to the other. Last day in the MK last week they only had one train operating, lines were long, we had to wait for a 2nd train, after that we were done with the MPB. I don't know if the crowds on train was getting to Conductor lady but she was so cranky, outright yelling at guests.

Was wondering what happened to the rest of the group! Did maintenance wake up your Dad? Never thought about the door having batteries.

The theming was top-notch. Halloween tunes (Monster Mash, Thriller, Frankenstein, etc.) played in the background while Minnie, Mickey, Daisy, Donald and Goofy went from table to table in their costumes. And each item on the buffet was marked with a clever title.

The food was yummy. Not at all "Hollywood and Vile" as I've seen it called on these boards.

You all look like you are having an incredible time. Your pictures are just out of this world. Thanks so much for sharing your trip with us! :)

Tuesday, con't

I'm thinking I should change the title of this TR to "Live-ish." @JenniferS did a much better job of staying in real time!

Well back to this morning. After Tink photobombed our picture, we walked over to The Plaza to check in for our lunch ADR. Mom and Dad sat down at one of the tables across from the restaurant and I joined them after receiving our pager.

We got to watch the Move it! Shake it! Vamos! (or whatever it's called) parade.

@figmentfan423 and @JenniferS, some ducks came to watch with us!

Thank you! I've loved Disney ducks since a year I'm not even sure I admit to being born in. When I see them flying south in the fall and I'm so happy thinking they're going to Disney:)

I'm glad the food has improved. Your yummy plates look nothing like what we we wound up with.

The following pics reveal why I need @TrolleyFollower91 and her camera. The lighting was poor and characters and kids move so quickly that it is impossible for me to get good shots with my old phone. So ignore the quality and focus on the adorableness. ;)

(And Em, I want you here for so many more reasons than just your photography skills! :inlove:

Daisy was the first to stop by.

We had a long spell :hilarious: between the first three characters and the last two. It gave us an opportunity to finish our main meal (and by "us" I mean the adults...do children actually eat anything at a character meal?) and then hit the desserts (which, it turns out, children DO eat at a character meal. Especially ice cream. Reminds me of what @Longers must have been like as a child! :joyfull:)

Even the desserts were Halloween-themed. Apology in advance for neglecting to get a picture of the spread. Maybe @Crew DeVille can post a pic after he's dined there!

The salted caramel cookie (top right) was my favorite! So delish!

A had waited very patiently for astronaut Donald and was out of this world excited to see him.

Goofy rounded up the end of our dinner.

My sister-in-law had another freebie FP (I'm starting to think CMs must randomly hand out FPs to moms trying to wrangle 3 active kids under 6) and we decided to use it on Toy Story.

A rode with his daddy.

And I rode with my mommy.

And I proudly beat the pants off her.

And everyone else in the car.

Yep, competition can be an ugly thing for me!

We walked down the exit ramp and were surprised to discover it was raining. Cast members do not allow you to linger in that area so we made a beeline for some coverage. The rain only lasted a few minutes and then we looked upward and saw the most beautiful (even more beautiful than the castle!) perfect rainbow in the sky.

My brother then took A to check in for Jedi Knight training. While we waited, M wanted to meet Olaf. She was beaming and giddy until it was our turn. Then she wasn't so sure.

Notice she is keeping her distance!

When we got to the Jedi stage the baby had reached his limit for the day and was in meltdown mode. And when the show started, M was terrified for her brother due to Darth and cried for the duration.

But A was a brave warrior!

Star Wars fireworks were about to start. The kids don't like fireworks, and since L and M were still inconsolable I recommended to my brother that they get out of Dodge as quickly as possible. M wanted me to hold her hand even though she was in the stroller, so I picked up my pace and power-walked beside the stroller.

I was impressed at how well my parents kept up!

We bid our goodbyes after exiting the turnstiles. However, I really wanted to see the fireworks. I took mom and dad to bench outside the park so they could sit and watch the show.

Missing the projections inside the park was not a problem for me....cause I'm all about fireworks!

We were able to see the big fire explosions as well. And we even felt the heat!!

We had no issues getting out of the parking lot since Fantasmic wasn't over yet. After a tiring day, my folks were glad to be back at POP in a few minutes.

I am finally caught up now, YAY!!!

Thanks to everyone for your wonderful comments. I promise to respond when time allows. :)

Wednesday, September 20

I was up early (check the time stamps on the above posts, LOL). Decided to have my breakfast in the room.

image.jpeg

Healthy (nope, no chocolate here!)

There are dark clouds around but I haven't had a chance to check the forecast. Epcot is on our agenda and I would prefer we not have weather like @TheMouseFan and I experienced in June!

Waiting for the 'rents to get ready.
(I have millennial children. I need to stay hip.)
(Hip??? Now I have really dated myself.)
