After hearing about the CM hour cuts to increase profit Incame to realize that Disney World really is only about the money. I'm tired of Disney World ruining and removing our favorite attractions and neglecting them to increase profit while jacking up the prices. It's a Disney themed institution that know people will be suckers and come to the park anyway. Disneyland... Here I come!!!!!!

Haha umm good luck. I'll thank the CMs when I see them because I agree they don't get paid enough for the hardwork they do...just like I'll thank the person that hands me my food at McDonalds off property. It's a job. Disney is a company, a very powerful one. Anyone on earth will recognize Mickey Mouse. You realize by going to Disneyland you're still giving money to TWDC and it's all the same right? I'll always go to Disney unless it gets REALLY bad. I'll make the most of my vacation and not worry about the little things or my wallet (to some extent) while I'm there. Just being happy with family and friends and enjoying that time together is what is important. Do yourself a favor and do this too...life is too short to complain about the little things...

Do you realize going to Disneyland is the same thing as going to Disney World, profits-wise? The company is still getting your money, whether you go to Florida or California.

True. But, think of it as "voting" with your money. Support the parts of Disney that you like. Don't support the parts you don't like. Yes, the collective pot is the same but the difference can be when the parts in the pot are looked at individually. Of course many will say, "You're 1 person. You don't go but someone else will." This is also true. I haven't been on a WDW parks vacation in almost 2 years. For me it's more about not throwing away perfectly good money and living by what I say. It's easy as pie to say, "I don't like what WDW is doing, someone should do something." It's a whole other ballgame when you actually stand behind the words. Sure there's others lined up to walk thru the WDW parks gates even when I'm not but I feel better knowing it wasn't me. If it never makes a bit of difference at least I felt better about it. ;)

Ok, maybe the hour cuts are normal but that means less people to make the parks what they are or what they once are and the less people on staff means lower quality and that's where I start to not like Disney World.

I am remembering bits and pieces of what my DS relayed to me but it had something to do with the Part Time employees being held to I believe 22 hours. The full time could work 40 or more by picking up shifts. PT must have additional hours approved and rarely is. Extended hours limited on a whole to full time. This isn't much different than the entire country trying to keep part time workers under the maximum for the new health care laws. (and think this week it changed from 2014 to 2015 so that might give a to this hiatus all for another year.)

I look at this way, and not to be rude to anyone, but your not going to WDW is one less person in line in front of me.

Exactly. Just as I look at the folk still vacationing at WDW with gratitude because the cruise prices go up as the staterooms book up. Hey! Free dining at WDW! ((as I patiently wait for the discounts to roll out for September sailings)) It's aaaaaaall gooooooooood! ;)
