About the same time they stopped investing seriously in the parks and moved to creating DVCs

understood....ill keep my place in the background lolThere are certain things you don't want to know.
For Example, "So Dave, exactly how many lady members of WDWMagic have you dated?"
There are things you just dont need answers to.
Me, too. I mean, regular old Joe...or Jane...ok so dont kill me on here as im just a regular ole' joe who happens to love WDW....but im dying to find out how the WDW1974 and jt04 "fued" started lol...ive been trying to get some good info on this DTD expansion as well as some other "behind the scenes" knowledge and I keep reading these back and forth messages from you two...
Agreed. They let Mickey slide into oblivion. When kid programming (other than Saturday mornings) began, Disney should have been all over it. Mickey should have been on the screen with Maya the Bee.The Mickey shorts are a result of the fact that Mickey (wait, til you see the hate I get on this one) is slightly more relevant than Oswald these days. Most kids only know him as a foamhead at 'Disney' or a corporate symbol.
And make no mistake, Disney is desperate to make him relevant again ... but they have to do it slowly. If they put out a Mickey feature tomorrow, they know it would bomb as much as a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles feature or even (with all the Bronys) a My Little Pony film and that would harm the company/BRAND in a huge way.
This is step one in trying to make Mickey relevant again ... because hs simply isn't.
I think we both know that is not the sort of nonsense being alluded to in this case. If the interchange was so important to the entire project moving forward it would not be in its own state of flux.Well, if it involves an interchange of I-4 it becomes county and state business as well ...
You don't have to have 20% or even 10% growth to be a growth business. A .000001% uptick is still growth and Disney is doing a helluva lot better than that.

I've never thought about that question until now ... so Dave, how many???!?!?!?!
The evidence was your old boss, you nitwit.
Actually, I thought the most interesting quote from this interview was picked up by Deadline:
Bob Iger: There's "No Evidence" it's a problem when a CEO is also Chairman

Why would Iger see Eisner as a negative? The man hand selected him to be his successor and lined up much of his current executive team for him.Actually, I thought the most interesting quote from this interview was picked up by Deadline:

Yes,i found that exchange to be rather interesting. I also found how the host - not Bob Iger - kept referring to them as "Activist Shareholders" in an attempt to discredit their opinions.
Yes, Dave, how many? Enquiring minds want to know!I've never thought about that question until now ... so Dave, how many???!?!?!?!

A number is fine. We need a number. We don't need details.

There you go again using terms you don't understand...
