I also would love to be a crew member of Lights, Motors Action or the Indy Stunt show, because Raiders of the Lost Ark is my favorit movie of all time. Plus i'm film student.

I was a CM for over 4 years and I DID work Haunted Mansion. :D I worked at a bunch of different attractions at Magic Kingdom and (mostly) MGM while I was there.

For those current (and potential) CM interested in HM I would DEFINITELY recommend it. It's just as fun as you think it is. Though I strongly preferred working at MGM over the Magic Kingdom. MGM is just a calmer park. Magic Kingdom is always nuts with crowds, especially at the mansion. However, working inside the mansion itself gave me my best memories of being a CM. I could've worked the stretching rooms all day without a break. Plus, best costume in WDW. :)

HM is like a dream job to me as far as attractions are concerned. I just pray that I'd be able to do it. And I agree, those costumes are the best (non-character costumes) at the resort.

If I could have any job with Disney it would be as an imagineer, as a structual engineer. As for working any attraction I would have to say either Kilimanjaro Safaris or Expedition Everest.

let's all remember all positions have their downsides also, not just all the fun & glamour, for example, haunted mansion gets 2 work audience control for parades, nasty costume to be out in the florida heat in august 110 degrees, or with your poncho on as the rain starts 10 min before parade time, monorails gets to deal with cranky guests when the trains get knocked out due to a summer thunderstorm. WHILE working at disney can be lots of fun it is also hard work sometimes, but most positions, the fun does outweigh the tough parts.:sohappy:

I would like to be a Monorail Pilot because I would like to be able interact with guests and be a part of the "highway in the sky". I'm hoping luck will be on my side when I apply.

I was a monorail pilot for 8 months. I'm glad I did it, there were times where I had a lot of fun. However the hours were horrible and the stress level can be high sometimes, especially during an exit. If the park closes at Midnight, monorail is running until 1:30 or 2:00 am. During the marathons, the Monorails run all night, and they don't drive themselves.. :p

Just go to the casting building, it's across the street from Downtown Disney. You can show up any day (M - F) or call ahead to make a reservation. They will have you fill out some paperwork, watch a video and interview with a cast member. Have fun, remember it gets hot down here this time of year, so think dark ride. :hammer:

I would say RnRC would be the best to work at. I have a related question, though...Is there an attraction that the majority of new hires want and if you have it, do they tell you that they wish they could trade with you?

I hear that at Safaris a lot.
