"If I could improve Walt Disney World..." 2.0

Well, after Epcot, we will be back in Disney Hollywood Adventure. One of the forum members said that by removing "studios" from this park, it might as well be called Magic Kingdom II, as both parks have essentially the same themes of Yesterday, Tomorrow and Fantasy, although one park just has rides based on films only. Except I had no idea that DHS/DHA has any "tomorrow" themes.

In any case, now that I think about it, maybe making this park more like the Magic Kingdom might actually help the park.

But before I do that, I will put up my complete list for Epcot first. Stay tuned.

I think each pavilion in World Showcase should have one major attraction. You left some pavilions "in the dark."

Well, I did mention previously that only Morocco and the United Kingdom would still be without attractions.
Why would you leave them without attractions? I did plan a King Arthur dark ride for the UK pavilion a while back. I'd be delighted to have you use it.

I would like to add my 10 cents for Animal Kingdom.

Animal Kingdom
- The lake infront of EE could host a version of WOC but themed around wildlife, and maybe include clips from The Lion King, The Jungle Book, Tarzan, Finding Nemo, Bambi, A Bug's Life, Brother Bear, Dinosaur, Pocahontas, Fox and the Hound and even the DisneyNature films. There could be a viewing area, just like the one in Paradise Pier, but with Asian influences, during the day, it could help ease out the and flow of guests through that area.

Camp Minnie Mickey
- Over at Camp Minnie Mickey I can see a replica of Grizzly River Runs from DCA but instead of it being a River Rapid, it can be a log flume ride and have animatronics from Brother Bear.
- I think The Festival of the Lion King makes no sense thematically where it currently is, so it can be moved over to Africa and in its place can have a show themed to Pocohantas.
- It would be great to have Mickey's and Minnie's cabins where kids can walk through their campsite and meet Mickey and his pals.
Australia
-The addition of this land would be amazing, somewhere behind EE and The Theatre in the Wild.
-This land will feature giant aquariums around the Theatre in the Wild, which will be renamed to The Reef Theatre.
-Also there could be some sort of new ride that takes you Down Under into the Outback, this ride can use the Robot Arm ride system like that used at WWHP. This would allow to simulate the bouncing of a Kangaroo.
-Then ofcourse some animal exhibits with Koalas, Kangaroos, etc..

Dinoland U.S.A.
-I would add a Research/ Discovery center where guests can interact with animatronics of Dinosaurs and learn about them, after all Animal Kingdom is meant to be an educational park.

Now this would be my FAVORITE Addition.

A Lion King Land
- New Location of an updated The Festival of The Lion King.
- A Lion King Dark Ride, something that AK doesn't have and would be a great addition.
- Elephant Graveyard Escape! http://disney.go.com/disneycareers/imaginations/flash/cmu.html

Animal Kingdom
-I love the nighttime show. We could even include footage from Up.

Camp Minnie-Mickey
-Turning GRR into a log flume and giving it a Brother Bear theme may make it too similar too Splash Mountain.
-Perfect. The cabins solve the problems given by the closure of Toontown!

Australia
-Although the KUKA arm ride simulation of kangaroo bouncing is a good idea, I'm afraid that Universal patented the ride system.

Dinoland USA
-Although the research center idea may be too similar to IOA's Discovery Center, it can become very different if done right.

Lion King Land
-Although these rides are good ideas, the area there in would exist better as a sub-land of Africa.

-I agree with you, the GRR would be somewhat repetitive, but I think the mountain would make great sense since that area would be themed to a North American campsite, a rollercoaster somewhat like BTM would be nice.

-For the Australia ride, maybe the ride system can be a flying rollercoaster. However this would already give AK three rollercoasters.

-For the Dino Institute, I was thinking various rooms "enclosures" each with different environments and AA's which guests can interact with, the main exhibit being the Iguanadon you have brought with you.
Add some games like the ones at Spaceship Earth Project Tomorrow but themed around archeology and Dinosaurs.
A theatre in which guests can experience the Asteroid Collision Theory, A 360 4-D show, hosted by Bill Nye the Science Guy.
When I think about the interior of the building I picture it as using the same concept as the Solomon R. Guggenheim museum in NY.

-The Lion King Land, or Pride Lands, would be a great addition to the park, including the Africa section but this would withdraw from the reality of the Harambe Village.

Well, I'm back at DHS/DHA, and the first thing I want to update is the Disney Animation thing, into something worthwhile again. But what?

Here's the thing on The Magic of Disney Animation: I keep grappling with doing scenes from Disney films here, but the problem is it would end up looking too much like classic Fantasyland dark rides. Granted, not all the same parks have all the same rides (Florida will have only three: Peter Pan, Winnie the Pooh and, coming soon, The Little Mermaid (Snow White will be scrapped for a princess meet-n-greet)), but how can we do a "Disney Animation" dark ride to replace the animation show at DHS?

I have an idea for a JII-style ride where a Disney animator sends you on a trip through the process of making animated films. The ride would go through such rooms as the sketch-like Story Room, the colorful Ink & Paint Room, and the extravagant Premiere Room.

That sounds good. Can you elaborate further?

Remember when you mentioned your idea for improving the Disney Animation attraction at Disney's Hollywood Studios/Disney Hollywood Adventure into a Journey Into Imagination-type dark ride, and you would go through such rooms as the sketch-like Story Room, the colorful Ink & Paint Room, and the extravagant Premiere Room? Well, do you suppose you could elaborate further on this ride?

And speaking of JII, what do you think of my idea of using the Imagination ride as seen on the E82 website?
