Okay, I'll try to include Mickey in only 2 place in the WHOLE parade. Once at the end and once at the beginning. I'll try to change out other characters, etc. I still don't think you're right about that, but whatever. I really don't care, I'll change it, but I seriously think it is a detremental loss to the parade and to the story of this parade. - The WeirdOne :D

Trust me on this one. It's the right choice. While I would much rather there only be one Mickey in the entire parade insteed of two, I don't think the Disney empire would crumble if there were two as long as one is black and white pie-eyed Mickey and the other is modern day Mickey. Thanks for the changes. It may be a small loss for the parade (since it's still a wonderful concept), but it's definatly a big win for preserving the magic of the Disney characters. Thanks for understanding. :)

Since the multi-Mickey disagreement is solved, Weird One, Meeko, why don't you combind your great parade ideas together and see what you come up with?:)

BTW, what ideas do you guys have for the new land?

We have so many attractions (about 50) right now that I don't think a whole new land would be necissary for a phase one. I think we're doing all right so a new land probably isn't a priority. We'll see what everyone else thinks though.

As for combining both my ideas and WierdOne's ideas, there's really no need. The park needs two parades (a day time and a night time parade) so we can continue working on both and be able to use both ideas.

I noticed that you made some errors in the list. First of all, it is Indiana Jones and the Temple of Mawsea not Masea. Also, it is Mist Mountain Amphitheater not Adventureland Amphitheater. Hook's Island is called Hook Isle. And Ghost Town River was renamed to Cactus River Rapids.

Sorry about that. I was going by previous posts so any name changes didn't get added. They've been fixed now, though.

Great. Then I hope to have a better script (which will most likely include one more unit than the original rough version) soon.

As for the rest of the park, we seem to be pulling everything together. Still don't know how much entertainment we have lined up from the park besides the Parades, fireworks, and the Tarzan show. I'm assuming we'll have some sort of saloon show at the Tall Tale in Frontieland, though, and we still have the Plaza gardens Theater and Fantasyland Theater as well that don't have shows. Also, some ideas for bands and street performers would be a good idea as well.

I also think we should start making a listing of the character greeting and dining locations throughtout the park. Imageneer Boy and Wannabe Walt, if you could pick out a few locations in yourlands that could be used for cjharacter greeting locations, character dining lications, I can make up a full of which characters will be appearing where in the parks. I know I have a few locations picked out for Fantasyland Inside the Castle, around Storybookland, and an ariel's Grotto-like area to serve as a buffer between the Little mermaid attraction and Aquatopia. Thanks.

I guess you're right about the parade thing.

Wannabe Walt, I'm confused about the river rapids thing. Is that the thing where you go and see the bandits?

Meeko, I guess you're right about the new land. Let's just not add it.

Do you think that when we are done with everything in the MK, should we make a map of the whole park? Maybe I could do it.

When I looked at the list, I noticed that there is no official name for the Ludwic Van Drake attraction. I'm just simply going to call it "Ludwic Van Drake's House of Genius: Experement: Donald"

For character greetings, here's mine,

Tomorrowland:

1. In the Star Traders shop, it is the place where people who have gone on AE come out. You can meet Stitch in "The Stitch Encounter".

2. Out side Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Station shop, meet Buzz and his alien friends.

3. Meet Mickey, Donald, and Goofy in crazy space outfits inside the planet M shop.

Toon Town:

Character dining at the Ink and Paint club resturaunt. Meet Pluto, Roger Rabbit, Goofy, and Donald.

Meet Mickey in Mickey's movie barn

Meet Roger Rabit outside the exit to Roger Rabbits car-toon spin.

Meet Minnie at the enterance to her house

Meet Goofy and Max at the exit to their house.

Meet Donald at his boat.

Meet Chip and Dale at their tree house.

Meet Ludwic Van Drake at the exit to his attraction.

That's about all of the character greetings.

Hmmm...for the Fantasyland Theater, for now we could just throw in the now retired "Beauty And The Beast" show that played at the Videopolis in Disneyland around 1992. Very good show!

As for the Plaza Gardens, how about we put something very unique in there like "Encore!", that 45 minute Broadway Revue from DisneySea with a few modifications, or we could throw in a Disney Revue show? - The WeirdOne :D

Yeah, I think we're about ready to get a map drawn out. We still havn't got a map of Frontierland, though, so I'm not sure if it's time to get started o that right now. Definatly as sson as we get that last piece, though.

As for the characters, it may just have to be Buzz at his ride's exit. There isn't really a costume for the Alien. Personally, I don't think Ludwig is a extreemly recognizable or popular character. Having him as a regular character is kind of iffy, so I would nix his from the land. Also, if those are the characters that you want at the Ink and Paint club, I would recogmend not having them in any other locations in the same land. Maybe take out Roger and Donald's locations, have Donald appear on Main Street or something and then make the meal Roger, Pluto, Donald, and another character that fits the theme. Maybe have Goofy there and just have Max outside the House and have Goofy in another land.

I'm not sure the park can stand another Beauty and the Beast themed attraction. The ride in the Castle already tells the story completely and between the Castle itself and all the shops, restaurants, and character greeting areas, it seems like anything else Beauty and the Beast would be overkill. It is one of my favorite shows (still plays at MGM), but I don't think it's the right idea for the park.

As for the Broadway show, I love the idea. Maybe we could make it sort of a Disney musical review and include songs from Mary Poppins, Lion King, Pete's Dragon, and other Disney musicals (I'd love to include the Music Man, but I'm not sure it would fit.) We can make it kind of artsy like Festival of the Lion King or the old Hunchback show at MGM, but still include characters to make it intersting for the whole family. What do you think?

I still want Ludwic Van Drake in front of his ride. Roger, Pluto, Donald, and Daisey could be at the Ink and Paint club. The character greetings will be during lunch and dinner. In between those times, Donald and Daisey could greet guests by the boat, while Roger appears a couple of times around Toon Town. Max and Goofy will still be at their house. They can also appear around the park other times. Of corse, in different costumes themed to the land that they're in.

As for the alien costumes, don't forget, its our theme park. We can create many different things. We can make new alien costumes.

How about a Marry Poppins broadway-type show? Just think, Marry Poppis could fly over the audience with her umbrella, the whole theater could be multi-colored during the chalk scene with the help of lights, and all sorts of stuff!:D Think of the possibilities!:D

Here are my ideas for some character greetings locations on Main Street and Fantasyland.

Town Square- Random characters that may not be able to fit anywhere else. We'll work on this area after all the others have characters in them.

Belle's Enchanted Ballroom- Inside the castle. Location for Disney's Princesses and princes (Belle, the Beast, Cinderella, Prince Charming, Aurora, Snow White)

Ariel's Grotto- Area to link Fantasyland with Tomorrowland (Aquatopia) includes a location where guests can meet Ariel.

Mad Tea Party- Alice, Mad Hatter, White Rabbit, Queen of Hearts, Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Dee

Storybookland- Pinocchio, Geppetto

Villains Lair- Evil Queen, Gaston, Cruella

Just thoughts. What do you think?

Sounds pretty good to me! For Main Street, just have the regular characters like Mickey etc. but have them in early 1900s clothes. Have them in regular outfits if they are hosting birthday parties.

Okay, forgot about the fact that we have a Beauty And The Beast Ride...um...for the Fantasyland show, we could put in "The Spirit Of Pocahontas" from the old Videopolis. It would be amazing and beautiful!

As for the thing inside the Main Street Theater, I'd like a Disney musical revue similar to Animazement including Mary Poppin's and a few other live action movies, but sticking to regular animation rather than live action. Suddenly, Ariel drops down from the cieling only to fly over the audience and then next tihng you know There goes Aladdin swinging from the grand chandelier and there goes Quasimodo flying over with his ropes, and the Lion King stampeding through the audience and then Mary with her umbrella...- The WeirdOne :D

I just talked with WDWMAGIC's own character expert, Rob (aka mktiggerman) and he had a few thoughts on out character line up

1- Von Drake will work, so I guess his location can stay, but onky if each of the three ducks only have one location in the park.

2- Gaston won't work. he'll be replaced by Malificent in the Villians location.

3- He Didn't like the Mickey/ Donald/ and Goofy in Tomorowland idea. Probably should be dropped.

4- The Alien costume doesn't exhist and said that making a new costume would not work and would not be worth it.

And, like his signiture says, he's never wrong.

Pocahontas sounds good to me. We can make the theater with sort of a forest theme to fit in Fantasyland.

As for the Musical Review, I think it sounds good. Definatly needs work, but it sounds very promising. Also, any way we could include "Candle on the Water" from Pete's Dragon in this show? I think it would work well in a broadway musical review. Just a thought.
