I was thinking of what kind of 3 pm parade there should be at the park and I thought of sort of a "dreams come true" type of parade. I figure there would be 8 or so floats in the parade, each of which includes different Disney characters (Ariel on one, Belle and the Beast on another, Peter Pan and Wendy on another, ect.). During the parade, the floats would stop and undergo a transformation. On the Little Mermaid float Ariel would turn into a human, on the Beauty and the Beast float the Beast would become the Prince, on the Peter Pan float, Peter and Wendy would start to fly. Not sure how this would work since some of these would require pretty quick costume changes such as Cinderella or Aladdin if these were chosen. Just a though.

I am going to keep it like it is but it won't have as much seating as Hollywood Hills Amphitheater. It will only hold about 800 people. I am working on a show called The Disney Jungle. The name is kindof bad so I could use some help with it. It kindof takes after Fantasmic! just it doesn't.  It will be a show, lead by Mickey, about Walt Disney and his many accomplishments. It will start off with a Jungle Theme and the Narrator will talk some then Mickey will enter. He will talk about his first performance, Steamboat Willy, and act really stuck up and selfish about the show. The Narrator will come back on and tell Mickey that the people want to know about it ALL. So Mickery disides to start with Steamboat Willy and go from there. Because he focuses on himself so much, he gets alot of the movies and things out of order, but o well! It will cover most of the famous Disney Movies and then it will cover DL WDW DLP DLT and the new park that we are working on! If, when this opens, DLH is done it will cover that too. It will kindof include some of the parts that are in One Man's Dream, except they will be lead by Mickey. Scenes from the movies will be in this with each having thier own special music! (EX: Dumbo Theme for the Dumbo scene and Lion King Reprise for the Remember! and Circle of Life scene) I am not completly done, but I will post it when I am!

Imagineer Boy, how smart are people these days! I really like your idea for a Frontierland version of PotC. It will be called Ghost Town River and it will be on the Ghostly Estates that I talked about. The Ghostly Estates will almost be like a land of its own but it won't be. It, so far, has The Haunted Mansion, Ghost Town River, Ferdanez D. Monsica's Phantom Cafe, and Zombie Bar Revue. I will post more on this later!

Thank you!:D About the Adventureland show, It sounds too much like Fantasmic. Plus, it doesn't really go good with Adventureland's theme. Why not a Festival of the Lion King show? It would go good with Adventureland and would be nice to have. Or, you could make it sort of like a combo of Tarzan rocks and Festival of the Lion King and add Mickey into it. See what you can come up with.:)

About the Ghost town thing, it sounds..... eeh, Ok. I don't see how the Pirates of the Caribean-like ride would go with a ghost town theme. Try not to make it too much like Pirates. Maybe add a little bit of intensity to it. Like, maybe you get in these steam powered viecles created be some mad western scintist. He's trying to display it to you, and you get to test ride it, and you go for a trip to another Frontier town , but find many bandits destroying it. THey spot you and attack you, and so on. As for the ghost town, sorry, but I kind of don't like it. It could be a very small section of Frontierland near where HM is. Near the HM, have a couple of run-down buildings and bad plants. Don't add any shops or resturaunts. Maybe a small shop located to the exit of HM. Well, these are just my thoughts. Sorry if I sound like I'm bossing you around or putting down all of your ideas.

The theater would work, but I don't like the show idea. It does not seem to fit into Adventureland in any way and I don't think the average guest would enjoy seeing a live tribute of all the different Disney parks (let alone notice if Mickey is giving the history of Disney films out of order). Besides, it makes Mickey seem unappealing and stuck-up, which Disney would never go for. Maybe something with more of an Adventureland theme, maybe a Tarzan or Aladdin-themed stunt show or something.

As for the ghost town river ride, it seems too similar to put next to HM.

Did I put that Ghost Town River would go in Ghostly Estates?!?! How STUPID do people get these days?!:hammer: I really messed up! Sorry for that error. It will be in the "normal" part of Frontierland somewhere around the HorseShoe Street part. This will be where the general store, bar, etc. are. The entrace could be through one of the old west buildings. It would seem like you are just going behind the building to a street called Cactus Street. There you would board the ride in the river called Mesa River. And it would go from there!

Well, are you dumping the ghost town idea. Because, I don't think that it should be called "Ghostly Estates", but just kind of make a few run-down buildings near HM sort of like a ghost town. Keep the mesa river where the steam boats go around BTMR and make the PotC-like ride an indoor ride of its own. Why would it be a ghost ride? Sure, bandits are scary, but not like ghosts. BTW, it kinda sounds like PotC, don't make it look alot like PotC. Add a few exciting scenes and make it not a water ride. The Haunted Mansion looks good, but it looks a bit too much like a castle. Just make a few touches here and there, and it'll look fine. :)

I agree. I would theme the boat ride to a wild west town insteed of a ghost town. If you know the western scene in the Great Movie Ride at MGM, maybe do something like that where you pass a scene where there's a bandit robbin g the bank and then have the ride finish with a chace scene.

I didn't mean to keep it "Ghost Town". I meant to put it back to regular Western town. Sorry for not explaining that! It would kindof be like the Western scene of GMR in MGM. Exept very stretched out and more scenes, obviously. Still working on a new show for Mist Mountain Amphitheater. It isn't the Disney Jungle thing. It is now called Tarzan: Back to the Jungle. It will be based on the first Tarzan movie. Not Tarzan and Jane. It will be kindof like Tarzan Rocks! but quite a bit different!   I will post more on it later!

Sounds good Wannabe Walt. I'm eager to hear the Tarzan show. Just one question, where on your map of Adventureland will the theater go? I'm not quite sure where in the park it could go and not stick out too much or where there would be enough space behind it to where there is a large enough backstage that can not be seen anywhere else in the park.

It seems a lot slower on the boards lately. I hope we all havn't lost interest on the park. We still have some amount of work to do primarily with entertainment. I'm going to start some more brainstorming work on the parade I mentioned earlier and post the results here fairly soon.

I know, it is getting a little slow on here. It's probably because we're about done with the Magic Kingdom. Which reminds me, after we're done with MK, what do we want to do next? A water park? Hotels? Down Town Disney?

You're right! It is very slow areound here lately excpet for Imagineer Boy, Meeko, and Me. The theater will be placed behind the Pirates of the Caribbean ride in the lush jungles. I can't remeber where I put Tarzan's Treehouse on the map, but wherever I did, I am moving it. It now will go directly to the right of the mountain. This way, it can be used in the shows. During the day, when nothing is happening at the theater, it will have waterfalls and other jungle-like things on and happening to it, so blend it in with the scenery. At night, when the show is started, the waterfalls will stop and any other things that were happeing will stop. Waterfalls, of coarse, can be used in the shows if needed. That is why I am moving Tarzan's Treehouse, so we won't have to build two and it can be used in my Tarzan show!

About Meeko's backstage problem. PotC will be on the back and right of the theater. The walls will be painted green so they blend with the jungles. This way, the backstage won't be seen from Frontierland and any other places. If needed, the backstage are can be put in a building in which the lake goes into and the back of the mountain goes into. This way, it can be painted green, and blend in even more!

I have been reading everything on a daily basis, I'll poke my head in whenever I see something that needs to be majorly changed, and is not commented so by someone else.......

OK, sounds good. One thing I have to say is do you mean it will be a daytime show or a nighttime show. I would recogmend it being a daytime show. That way, we can have more showing of it throughout the day insteed of a couple at night. Also, that means we can run it all year and not only in the busy seasons when the park is open later. Since we already have Blazin Rythms and probably the Electrical Parade, I think we have enough evening entertainment, but we could use another daytime show since the Tomorrowland show didn't end up working out.

Okay. The only thing is, this show would work better at night. The lighting and projections (which cant be seen very well in the day) play an important part in this play. I could have it run in the day, but Tarzan's Treehouse would have to shut down for each show. I was thinking that we could have the audience facing away north so the sun isn't in thier eyes and have the show at sun down. That way, when this gets over, we would leave enough time for everyone to get from here to Main Street (for the Electrical Light Parade) then after the ELP have Blazin' Rythms, cause everyone will already be on Main Street! So by the time the park closes, in the summer, it will be about 10:00 but in the summer, it could be about 8:00 or 8:30!

Still, if you only have a 800 seat amplitheater, you won't be able to fit everyone into just one or even two evening shows. I would drop the water screens and just make it a stunt show like Indiana Jones at MGM. Only use the Treehouse in the show since there's no way you can make it wheelchair accessable. Have 5 or 6 showings throughout the day insteed of a few at night. That way more people would be able to see it. Besides, I think Tarzan is too limited a theme to make into a nighttime show a la Fantasmic, but would work for just a normal daytime show.

As for the Haunted Mansion, it looks good, but not particularly ominous or foreboading. Maybe try another design.

I agree. Although, I'd still have the Tree House open to Guests. I know its not wheel chair accessable, but it's not really a must see thing. When thinking about the Tarzan show, try to think of a Tarzan version of the broadway lion king.

Here's an outline of the paradfe I mentioned earlier. It's pretty rough, but here's some basic ideas I had.

I- Sorcerer's Apprentice- Mickey stands on on a platform. When the float stops the platform rises when he puts on the magic hat. Magic Brooms and performers in blue water-themed costumes dance around the float.
II- Little Mermaid- the water theme in the Socere's Apprentice leads to the Under Sea world of the Little Mermaid. Areil sits on a rock while Sabastian and Flounder look on. Prince Eric and Max stad on the back of the float. When the parade stops, smoke errupts around Ariel and she appears as a human.
III- Peter Pan and Wendy stand on a float that looks like the London skyline. Tinker Bell appears in a glass buble on the top of the float and when the parade stops, the buble fills with pixie dust.
IV- The Lion King- Simba is featured on this float that looks like Pride Rock. When the parade stops, a sun rises behind his head, symbolizes the mane he will get as an an adult when he is king.
V- Princesses- A fantasy Castle is the setting for this float. Belle, Snow White, and Belle stand on this float with the Princes watching them from the upper level of the float. When the parade stops, the three Princes join the Princesses in a waltz.
VI- Aladdin- This float reacreates the streets of Agrabah where Aladdin and Abu sit holding the Magic Lamp. When the float stops, the Genine appears and performs Friend Like Me.
VII- The finale. This float is somewhat abstract made of swirling "magic" and features Minnie, Donald, Goofy, Pluto, and many of their friends celebrating fantasies coming reality.

Well this is just a rough brainstorm and most likely there will be smaller character units between the floats to flush out the parade. Anyway, from this, what do you think?
