I see someone's taking ideas off of my resort ;). Just playing with you since these rides are public property. - The WeirdOne :D

I can't say that I see this as an improvement over the current Haunted Mansion. First of all, the name does not seem very old west to me. Banshees are creatures from Irish lore and the word chateau is French. The two words don't mix very well, IMO. Second, I would hope that you keep the humor, many of the show elements (stretching room, ball room, graveyard, Madame Leota, Hitchhicking ghosts, ect.) and the "Grim Grinning Ghosts" song in the ride as well. They're staples to the attraction and the ride wouldn't be complete without them.

Also, I agree with FigementDream that maybe 1 or 2 new attractions are needed. I think that we would really need Splash Mountain (either in this land or in a smaller Critter Country) and maybe Western River Expidition or some sort of Pocahontas attraction or something.

I agree. Just keep haunted Mansion a mix of Phantom Manor, but don't change too much ( keep the regular scenes, a little different story line, a couple of new scenes ) but keep the same spirit as the other ones ( get it? ). Meeko is right about the Banshee Chateau. It dosn't sound westerny or ominouse. I kinda like the BTMR, walk thing, but the public would probably find it boring. When thinking of new rides, try to think about existing ride technologies and how you could change it to the theme of Frontierland. That dinner show thing sounds good. I've got an idea, the park needs some playgrounds for kids. How about a play ground themed to the Song of the South near Splash Mountain?

I have a feeling that Hook's Island will include a playground, but I think one in Frontierland would be a good idea as well. Maybe theme it to Pocahontas. You could make it a wooded area with a fort, Indian Village, Enchanted Glade play area, and caves to explore.

I've been working on Storybook Land and I thought I'd go ahead and post some ideas here to get some feedback. It will be like Disneyland Paris. There will be no nairation and no Monstro and will also have the miniature characters in the scenes like in the Paris version. Here are some of the scenes I thought would work:

*Pinocchio's village complete with Geppetto's Toy Shop and Stromboli's Puppet Theater. Minature figures of Pinocchio, Foulfellow, and Giddeon walk down cobblestone streets.
* The Three Little Pigs houses along with the Big Bad Wolf's cave. Fiddler and Fifer pig dance outside while Practical Pig works on his brick house.
* Prince Eric's seaside Castle, complete with sailing ship. Prince Eric and his dog Max stands on board the ship while Ariel sits on a rock bellow.
* Mount Olympus from Hercules, along with Phil's Island near the mountain's base, with Hercules, Phil, and Pegasus training on the island.
* Cinderella's Castle with the village, complete with Lady Tremaine's Chateau. The pumkin coach with Cinderella inside could be seen in the winding streets.
* The Cottage in the woods from Sleeping Beaty with Briar Rose and Prince Phillip dancing to "Once Upon A Dream" in the woods.
* Aladdin's Cave of Wonders complete with Treasure chamber where Aladdin and Abu look for the lamp.
* The Queen of Heart's Castle and labyrenth from Wonderland. Alice wanders a pathway from the Tulgy wood nearby.

Great job Meeko! Which reminds me, I'd better get started on the House of Mouse 3-D show. Help me decide, I don't want it to be "House of Mouse 3-D show" I want somting different, but I can't come up with a good name. I was thinking about "Mouse Ears Theater", but that doesn't give you the scence that its a 3-D show. Any ideas?

I think it would be eaier to name it once we know the plot of the film and such. I think it should probably have "House of Mouse" somewhere in the title, though or at least have it the title include "at the House of Mouse" after the show name ("Mickey's 3D Spectacular at the Mouse of Mouse" for instance).

I guess you're right, but I don't want it to reveal that it's a 3-D show. In the story, it's supposed to be a regular show. Sort of like HISTA, and it's tough ta be a bug.

All right, how about something like "Mickey's Toontown Review at the House of Mouse". Something along those lines.

Here's my plans for Main Street. Some of the names need some work (Mickey's Main Street Memories, The Crystal Room, ect.), but here are the plans as they stand currently.

Railroad- Main station for the train which goes around the park.
Disney Gallery- Features exhibits that rotate on a regular basis
Main Street Vehicals- Standard trolly cars, jinties, and other modes of transportation commonly found on Main Streets
Main Street Cimema- Small quite theater where guests can sit down and watch classic black and white Disney cartoons
Penny Arcade- Vintage arcade games
Plaza Gardens Theater- Large indoor theater for live shows

Lillian's- Victorian-style full-service restaurant named after Walt Disney's wife, Lillian.
Tony's Resaurante- Italian restaurant with a Lady and the Tramp there,
Main Street Bakery- Bakery
Casey's Corner- Hot dogs, drinks, and french fires are available at this fast-food eterie.
Plaza Ice Cream Parlor- Victorian-era ice cream parlor and soda fountain

Main Street Gazette- Photo center themed to a newspaper office
Emporium- Largest shop
The Chapeau- Hat shop
Disney Gallery- Disney memorabilia for sale at the end of the exhibits
Main Street Confectionery- sweets and chocolate
Market House- teas, preserves and other items
The Crystal Room- Crystal artwork
Town Square Firehouse- 101 Dalmatians and firefighting memorobilia
Uptown Jewelers- China and Jewelry
Sihloete Studio- Sihloetes
Hill's Music Shop- CDs, videos, and books
Disney Clothiers Ltd.- Disney character clothing for adults
Mickey's Main Street Memories- Children's clothing and toys

Well, I think that's pretty good, although you seem to be missing a "crystal palace" type restaurant. Unless you mean for Lillian's to fill this void but I got the impression that this would be more cafe-like. There also just seems to me to be lacking a few more innovative specialty shops, like maybe an all pin shop or something or maybe spilt the music shop up into three different stores the music still selling CD's, then a small boutique added near the Cinema to sell video's and DVD's and then a separate Library themed book store. Maybe also just a separate store for stuffed animals. I am not that in favor of the Emporium sort of being the catch all for main street merchandise, I think that it would be more effective theme wise and easy for guests to pin-point merchandise if some of it was sectored off into smaller boutique like shops. It just seems to me that it would be more unique to have many boutiques to really make this Street seem like a small metropolis.

Yes, Lillian's was designed to be the, more or less, "Crystal Palace" style restaurant for the Main Street. I think your ideas for the shops would be too specialized. A pin shop doesn't seem upscale enough for a shop on Main Street to me. Also, I don't think seperate shops for books or CDs would be necissary either. As for the Emporium, every MK in the world has one, and having one large Emporium like that is common in small turn-of-the-century towns. I think it is one tradtion that should be kept, but maybe have it smaller than, say, the one at WDW, and maybe have a smaller toy store or something next door.

I don't see how pins are less upscale then adult Disney clothing or books and some of the other normal merchandise you already have on Main Street........

I don't think the suggestions I made would make it too specialized at all, Main Street should be the shopping meca and personally I would not go into something called Hill's Music Store to look for DVD's, CD's Books and Videos/DVD's are a large amount of merchandise I think they could each easily handle their own small stores with out being "too specialized". The stuffed animals was simply because these are very popular and if you can make this in a separate and more visible location (ie not some corner of the Emporium) you will get more traffic and more sells.

I was not saying to get rid of the Emporium just saying that I would rather have a moderately sized Emporium with a number of specialized shops, than one huge Emporium and little or no specialized shops, there is still a wide variety of merchandise that I would keep the Emporium for. If you push more easily categorizable merchandise that is also frequently wanted into specialized shops where they can easily be found you get a higher buy rate.

All right, the books and music will be seperated into one store called Hill's Book and Music Store and the DVDs, videos, and computer software will become another store called Mickey's Movie Co. The stuffed animals and bean bags (if bean bags are still popular, I know they were a few years back) will also get their own store as well. Still don't think a pin shop would work. I'll keep them at the Emporium since it's hard to tell how long the pin craze will last.

Okay. The name of Banshee Chataeu is now changed to Haunted Mansion but it will be on a large, 26 acre peice of land known as Ghostly Estates. The mansion will have a whole new look compared to WDW's and all of the DL's. It will resemble a huge, 1800's mansion. You are thinking, Phantom Manor, NO!!!!! Nothing like Phantom Manor. Haunted Mansion will have most of the scenes from WDW's plus a few new ones. I will post more on this later.

As for the BTMR walk-through idea, I am going to call it Big Thunder Mine Tours. It will be as described before.

Here is the entertainment idea for Adventureland's Mist Mountain Amphitheater. The theatre will have three parts. The "house" (place where audience sit), a flat stage, and a mountain/lake stage (Just like WDW's Hollywood Hill's Amphitheater mountain that is for Fantasmic!). The stage will be made of stainless steel made to look like it is lined with rocks and the actual stage part is just black. The flat stage will be able to be submerged totaly, up to 12 feet deep, in Jungle Lake (which is the name of the lake that surrounds the mountain). The flat stage will only be used with special performances that absolutly need it. Such as bands, cheerleading, etc. Now the Mountain is a whole new story. It will be 68 feet tall, 73 feet wide, and 50 feet from front to back. I will post some pictures later. It will have a riser platform that can rise to the top (like Mickey does in Fantasmic!), three "stage" areas (one 3 feet above water level, one 14 feet above water level, and one 52 feet above water level. The inside will be hollow for storage and controls. There will be a large moveable door (that looks like a rock so it blends in w/ the mountain) used for transportation of props, equipment, etc. from stage to inside. It will be 36 feet high, 32 feet wide, and 1 foot thick. It will separated the middle stage from the top stage. I have an idea for a show that I will post later. The lake around the mountain will have many special attributes. It will house 86 fountains, 2 oil lines for catching the lake on fire, two water screens, and three "fountain" riser platforms. The fountain risers will be just like the riser at the top of the mountain except they will be in the water. There will be 4 fountains around the base of each to that, when the fountains are on and the platform is up, it looks like someone is standing on the water! Each fountain, out of all 86, will be able to be turned into 140 different colors, using different lighting combos, single lights, and all of the lights in the stage (which would pretty much turn it black). There will be about 400+ lighting fixutres in the theater, including the ones that are underwater to color the fountains and water screens. The sound system will be great! There will be speakers built into the floor of the theater in certain, stratigicly located areas. They will also be above, behind, left, and right of the audience. To even make it better, the back of the mountain will have three 10x6ft speakers built in. The "liner" that blocks view of backstage from the audience will even have 8 speakers, 4 on the left and 4 on the right. If needed, the flat stage will be able to have draperies. They will be removed each time before the stage is submerged and placed back on, if needed, when it is raised and dried.

I don't think you went into enough detail. If this is going to be in a lake in Adventureland, it kinda wouldn't make scence becasue you have 2 islands already ( jungle cruise island, and pirate island ) I suggest that you make pirate island, be on the island that the jungle cruise goes around, and still have the same stage. I don't think cheer leaders need to use this stage because it seems too elaborate for a cheerleader stage. The stage where I originally had the leaving space ship show in Tomorrowland could be a use for cheerleaders and other purposes. Cheerleaders only need one stage in the park. The shows that you could present there in the jungle stage could be like Mickey's Jungle show or somthing like that. About the BTMR animal tours, people have baisicly already seen critters in Frontierland ( Splash mountain and Country bears ) people just wouldn't find it interesting. I've got an idea for an attraction that you could add in Frontierland: somthing like PotC, but you're seeing bank robbers and bandits destroying a Frontier settlement. What do you think? Maybe you could develope this idea.:) And for the shops, I don't really like elephant tales, but the rest is good.

I really don't think an amplitheater this big is needed. We already have Balzin Rythms as our Fantasmic-type show. I think maybe a smaller theater would be better for Adventureland, maybe something along the same scale as the Lion King show at AK or maybe as big of scales as something like the Indiana Jones Stunt Show at MGM. Also, as for the shop names, Yankee Tradder doesn't seem like it fits into Frontierland. The name works in liberty square, but doesn't seem to match the wild west/ uncharted wilderness theme of Frontierland.
Also, I still think a Pocahontas-themed playground would really be good for the area. I think it would be more popular than the Mine Tours you mentioned.
