Well, for my Tomorrowland show, being the big challenge and pain in the butt it is...

I'm going to do an intergalactic type revue similar to the 1930's type show where there is a starships maiden voyage and this is the grand opening festivities. We'll see how it turns out. I may end up dropping the whole Tomorrowland show idea, it's the hardest and weakest area in entertainment terms. - The WeirdOne :D

Sounds good. I'm not familiar with the 1930s type show you're talking about. Do you mean the theme, costumes, music, ect. will be 1930s in theme?

I'm refering to the music mostly, but some of the themes from the 1930s will be there (huge ocean liners, jazz, tap, hollywood, etc.) - The WeirdOne :D

Good point. The Invention Exchange would be a better choice of illimination than the 3D movie. As for the Gyro Gearloose coaster, since Von Drake or Huey, Dewey and Louie doesn't have an attraction anymore, maybe you could theme the attraction after one of them.

Von Drake will have the Cranium Command ride, Gyro will have his coaster, and I'll add a small attraction behind Donald's Boat called Hewy, Dewy, and Loui's Junior Wook Chuck Club House. You'll see stuff on the walls that they've made in the past, their Junior Wood Chuck badges, and more. next to that, there will be the Junior Wook Chuck obstical corse. A small play ground in discuise. What do you think?:)

Well, they had big celebrations in the 30s when ocean liners made their first maiden voyages. Except, this will be a Space Cruiser making its first maiden voyage. It will be a big celebration show hosted by Mickey. Is it along the lines of that Weird One?

Sounds great to me. I've always liked the music and such of that era. I'm looking forward to hearing more about it. My one concern it, will it fit with the rest of Tomorrowland? Hope it does, because I really like that idea. Imageneer Boy, think this won't clash too much with your theming?

The revision of ToonTown is an improvement

WeirdOne, I think the show sounds good and I think I have an inclination where you are going with this...... ;)

Well, the show won't. The music sould be futeristic versions of 30s music.

Here's a basic script for the Little Mermaid dark ride in Fantasyland.

Guest enter the attraction by entering a fanciful undersea grotto filled with treasures of the human world. After the queue, they will board clam-shell inspired carrages that will hang from the ceiling similar to the ones on Peter Pan's flight. As the vehical turns the first corner, they see Ariel sitting on a rock and telling Flounder how much she wants to be part of the human world and hear an instrumental version of "Part of Your World" being played. The carriges would then exit the grotto and would look like they are floating through the undersea kingdom, passing the Castle and past King Triton riding by in his dolphin-drawn carriage. The scene changes moods into more of a calypso feel as the carrages pass Sabastian and his band play "Under the Sea". Guests then enter into Ursula's layer passing the Witch at her cauldron steeling Ariel's voice while. As the spell is cast, the vehicals move upwards and a door magically opens and guests find themselves in the Kiss the Gril scene past the boat with Ariel and Eric. Ursula then appears with the triton saying she is she is the ruler of the seas. A storm brews and Prince Eric can be seen on the once-sunken ship Guests take a sharp turn into a dark room and see a flash behind them and hear the witch scream. Doors open into the next scene where Ariel and Eric wave to the passersby from their wedding ship.

Oppinions, thoughts, ideas? Not sure this and a Little Mermaid show would work in the same park, but I guess we'll see.

I'm continuing with Roger Rabbit's Car-Toon Adventure

After yougo past seeing Jessica being stuffed in the trunk, you swerve into the doors of the ink and paint club. You go into a room where an AA moose tries to hold his large pile of dishes while the chaneliers overhead swing back and forth. You then burst into the dinging area of the actual resturaunt where real people are eating. You then crash through window and go down a long sharp hill ( at a slow speed ) there are buildings on their sides along side of the walls to make it feel like you're plummenting down to the streets below. On the street an AA Roger says

Roger: Don't worry, I'll catch ya!

The lights go out, and and a few effects happen to give the impressing that you've slammed into the pavement ontop of Roger. You go into a room where starsswirling around, like in cartoons. You then see a 3-D Roger who looks dazed.
You then zoom into the Toon Town Power house where you see machines that look alive and you see a 3-D roger fighting a 3-D weasle ( the crazy one in a strait jacket )

Roger: HEY! Let go of me!

Roger grabs hold of an electric insulator trying to escape and gets electricuted. You then zoom out of the power house and into the gag factory. A couple of Weasles pop out at you. ( the stupid one with a base ball bat, and the sly one in a green suit ) the one with cigaretts with a machine gun pops out and fires his machine gun at you. You zoom away just in time. Yoy then see the sly weasle in a green suit above you cuts the rope holding an anvil. The anvil falls down but you just miss it. You see a 3-D box open up that reveals a cartoon hand on a spring holding a pie. It spings out at you flinging the pie . The pie flies toward your faces, but it just misses you and you feel a blast of air. The same thing happen again when a punching glove on a spring zooms out of a box. You go into a dark room and you see Roger's lit up eyes eyes in front of you.

Roger: Hey, who turned out the lights?

He lights a match revealing that the dark room is a room full of dynamite with the fuses burning.

Roger: Uh oh.

CRASH! BOOM! BANG! BLAM! You see a 3-D Roger who is quite burned like Skippy says

Roger: D-Don't worry. I'll g-get y-y-y-you out of this some how!

TO BE CONTINUED............................................

Yes, imagineerboy, this is like the maiden voyage of an ocean line, excpet this will be a spaceship. I will make this so it doesn't clash wit the themeing, plus most of the show is on rollerskates anyways.

FigmentDream has an inclination, but it might not be right ;).

As for the music, it will be like the 30's came back in 2050 or something. LOL! Trust me, it'll work.

As for the Little Mermaid show and dark ride, if you;d rather me change it to Hunchback where Esmeralda burns at the steak and everyone basically dies at the end, sure. Otherwise, I'm sure it'll work, they have almost notihng in common other than yours is brief and has a story, mine is long and doesn't :D. - The WeirdOne :D

Well, Hunchback sounds good, but 1) there's already such a large Hunchback segment in Blazin Rythms and 2) I think kiling off Esmeralda would get so many complaints from guests it would not be worth it trying to do that in the show (if they complain that a cardboard witch on a ride is too taumatizing, think what they'll say about killing off the heroine). Maybe a Hercules or Mulan show or some sort of show with a bnch of different characters in it would work better.

Wait, I thought Weird One was just joking about that.

I still think I know what you are using for a basis for this, but what od segment 2 and 3 have to do with the maiden voyage of a spaceship ?!? :veryconfu

Just a thought... (mainly because I really liked the von drake concept...)

Rather than having Toontown boxed in by it's limited current theme, why not expand the theme to include these ideas? Make it more of a land in its own right as opposed to just a transitional area.

Toontropolis?

If nothing else, it might be fun to brainstorm ideas for the attractions needed to fill such an area?

You keep the barnstormer, car-toon adventure and von Drake's.
The Junior Woodchuck treehouse.
The house of mouse 3-d show would fit.
Lemon Lanes: Pete's used car test drive track.
Launchpad McQuack's experiMENTAL aircraft.
Goofy Sports Bar & Grill (dining)
Etc.

Yeah, I was kind of thinking the same thing about 4 and 5. Maybe have the lyrics changed to reflect more of a intergalactic theme.

That still seems like stretching the "Toon" theme far too much. Also, many of the characters mentioned (Pete, Launchpad, Von Drake, Junior Woodchucks) probably wouldn't have all that much appeal since they're not all that popular and would really make what is supose to be one of the smaller MK lands far too big.

Guys, I am dumping the Tomorrowland Theater concept. I've actually written out almost 4 show proposals in my notebooks and it's just too limited in scope to really put a show there. I think it's ridiculous to even bother with more ideas on that area. I'm sure we can dump in some meet and greet. I have too much else to do to bother with trying out 8 other concepts to find the right one.

Sorry for getting anyone's hopes up. - The WeirdOne :D

I did a little work on Snow White's Adventures darkride for fantasyland. The exterior to the ride is similar to the Queen's castle in the film. Guests enter into the castle and through the queue. They then board vehicals that are reminisant of the seven dwarf's beds (complete with names). A door opens and the cars "exit" the castle into a courtyard. Snow White stands at the wishing well singing "I'm Wishing" while white dove look on. On the castle wall, the Prince can be seen scalling the wall about to jump into the courtyard to meet Snow White. After a little turn, guests see a large window where the Queen is peering out and spying on the little Princess. A pair of doors open up beneeth the window and the cars enter the dungeon. You pass the Magic Mirror who says Snow White is the fairest of them all. You hear the Queen say "No!" and then cast a spell as the cars pass strange devices and the raven in her labrotory. Suddenly, the Witch pops out at the cars and says she will take care of Snow White while cackelling eviley. A pair of doors open and the cars appear in a cheerful forest where Snow White is asking the forest animals if there is a place where she can stay. The cars near the forest and see the animals cleaning in front of the cottage. The cottage door opens and guests ride past the dwarfs singing and dancing to "The Silly Song". In the next room of the cottage, Snow White is about to take the poisson apple from the witch. As you exit the cottage, you hear the witch's victorious cries and cackeling and enter the haunted forest where the trees attempt to grab a hold of guests. Next, you find yourself in the mine, where the dwarfs begin to give chace. After exiting the mine, you see the witch above you trying to push a boulder on you, but a bolt of lightning flashes and she falls backwards. A door opens in the cliff and the cars ride past the Prince kissing Snow White who is lying in the glass coffin. In the final scene, The Prince leads Snow White on his horse to his Castle in the clouds while the dwarfs wave goodbye.

How does this sound. I tried not to make it quite as scarry as previous versions of the ride (more Snow White oriented, not Witch oriented). Sound good?
