I think I'm starting to regret booking.

Keep Moving Forward
We'll be there May 27-28. I've given up trying to figure out what will be down. Given all the changes, I'll just have to wait until we're closer. I AM bummed about the possibility of many closures, but we cannot reschedule this trip. Part of is is for a family gathering which we have to go to anyway, so if we bag the DL part of the trip, we are unlikely to be back any time soon. So we're going, and I'm hoping for the best. Whatever we get will be better than nothing at all.
Our dates are set too around a family wedding so for us it's just deciding which days we go.

Oh man....kinda makes me nervous for our trip.....I wonder what will be down last week of Sept-first week of Oct.... :/ Its annoying enough at WDW when one is out of commission...let alone several!

I think you'll be fine, Britt, since all the big rides are going down for refurb right now.

I dunno, I find the double dip schedule for IASW to be highly suspect. I'd be surprised if it reopened and closed again after two weeks, but I guess stranger things have happened.

No IASW, Alice or Grizzly Run for us as of the latest report. I really hope POTC doesn't run late so that we can see that though.

We know we can go ride PotC the day we are planning to arrive. 4/27. DH is pushing to arrive a day sooner on 4/26. If we did that we'd have the entire day on Sunday to ride PotC til our little hearts were content. :)

Are you saying you get to ride Pirates for at least one day???
YES! 1 day! Aaaaaand, Soarin is back for us so we get to see all the aviation stuff in the queue area. Huge! Space is back for us, too. The only big regret for me is Indy. DH said if the subs are back by some miracle I'm off the hook for 6 months. I have no idea how to start the campaigne to get Disney to fill the lagoon and open a single sub for 1 ride thru but they could make my whole YEAR! I'm not holding my breath tho. :hilarious::hilarious:

Excellent!! See, mostly everything is working out in your favor. Missing Indy sucks, but the good thing is it's going anywhere. You could always come back.

This is some general advice: don't overthink Disneyland.

Seriously.

It's not Walt Disney World (thank god). Planning to an extreme degree is totally unnecessary. Things will *always* be closed. Just go, enjoy what is open (which will be a tooooooon of stuff, no matter when you go), and enjoy the rest later.

That assumes you will go back. Oh, you will be back!

Thanks. Definitely what I needed to hear. I've been increasingly nervous over arriving and having that lost feeling. Been starting to pour obsessively over maps, videos, forums, etc. I need to make this my mantra: don't overthink it!
