I should be working/studying/cleaning, but instead I'm on WDWmagic.

Annnddd for today, not sure what's up. Sitting here on the computer and noticing my sister's book.. "The Giver". Was anyone else subjected to this awful novel in highschool. Ugh.

I liked "The Giver".:lookaroun

OMG, you MUST read Catcher in the Rye. Every American teenager needs to read it. It should be required reading to like... turn 16.

Catcher in the Rye=:hurl:

One of the worst books I've ever read. How it became such a "classic" is baffling to me.

Hellooooo.

Thinking of getting another tattoo:

It's something my mom always says. I want it going down my ribcage on the right(?) side.

I'm torn between right and left.

Thoughts?

Craziest, buisiest day ever...I've been going nonstop since 7:00 today.

They found my missing Astronomy Book last night apparently, so I got an email that it would still be in the lab room where I left it...so that was my first stop. Offices/Lab was closed that ealy, apparently the 7:00 Lab was canceled today, of all days.
So, from there, I went to Financial Aid, where I got to argue with the advisor for a few mins over what form I needed. I'm acting on orders from my family's accountant, and she's telling me over and over again that I won't be able to use any of the forms these giving me, as I'm not an accountant. I tell her I'm GIVING them to my accountant. She ignores that, and continue to berate me. So, after about 30 mins of that, head back to the Chem/Physics Dept to get my book, STILL locked up. They should have been open at least an hour already. ....So I went to go pick up my paper from the History Dept instead, seeing that my prof can't distribute them in class anymore. That's a story for another time. Here was a bright spot in the day...got 92% on it! :sohappy: I thought I bombed this, it was a Historiographical Assessment on Race Relations in VA in the 17th Century. Not really fun, or easy to write about, but she said I rose to the occasion, and loved it. Meanwhile, I think it really sucked. But I won't complain. So after that, back to Chem and Phys to get the book...so I can study for Thursdays exam...which is finally open...but the Lab Manager is missing. I have to hunt her down. :zipit: This took about another 40 mins....and I finally find her...and No Book.  My Lab Tech (The one that does not teach) hasn't dropped it off yet. She'll be in later. So, at this point, I give up, finally head the library, and just review my notes, eat lunch, and then off to Spanish. After Spanish, back to Chem and Phys for my book, and...The Lab Manager is at lunch. Murphey's Law in full today, huh?

So, now, I'm sitting on a bench, typing this, as WDWMagic has been
WDWMAGIC is currently closed for essential maintenance . The site should reopen in around 5 mins. Many thanks, Steve.

This is therapeutic, though, I like to write. Especially after days like today. The thing that isn't therapeutic is the smoke that's not billowing out of the storm drain about 50 yards across the green and the sound of sirens in the distance. No joke. This is insanity.

Oh and both the Giver and Catcher are AWESOME books. Catcher, more-so... It's the classic stream of thought that makes it awesome.

Both. :lookaroun

Actually, maybe the right side.

Oh, and EE: For some peculiar reason, your story of your day made me LOL hard.

Probably because it was similar to what happened to me several years ago in jr. high. Minus the whole Financial Aid belittlement. :lookaroun
