I should be working/studying/cleaning, but instead I'm on WDWmagic.

Holllllaaaaa gangstas =)

I enjoy that you chatted about my winking. Lauren and I got 1 each, but generally we were moving too fast to try to catch anyone's eye. I did, however, get a stalker at HS, and some random in Nassau told me I had a nice body, and an old man at the airport winked at me yesterday. Do those count?

Trip was amazing! I'll do a TR soonish.. I want to be able to include everyone's pictures, so that means waiting for people to post them on FB. In a few days, I'll start writing it sans photos tonight =)

How was your week?

Fantastic Monday so far.

I decided to leave school around 10 in favour of questioning a hospital program for Radiology. What was interesting was that the hospital I went for answers resembled more of a college dorm or a lavish hotel. I mean, Spanish architecture embellished the exterior, with the clay-coloured decor and a rich blend of earth tones inside and out. A huge, out-of-place fountain gushed outside the main entrance.

Turns out that it was erected in 1928 as a needed community hospital, and there were even historical exhibits of the place's once-used devices and gadgetry. Not to mention the second floor showed its age; bare, gray walls greeted me amid faded signs and extremely dim lighting. That whole floor reminded me of something out of a mental institution; I almost expected a patient in a straitjacket to walk by casually.:lookaroun

Alas, the Information desk, (and for the employees that I was directed to) was anything but helpful. Long story short, I did received answers, and I left satisfied. Of course, I feel they should've paid attention a little more, but I must remember, I am unimportant amongst their heavy makeup and thick-enough-to-burn-holes-through-floor glasses.

So. Words.

Actually, friends preferred to go to EPCOT. Shocking, yes, I know. They wanted to try Yakatori House.

And were you amused at those three? If I was there, I probably would first spot your group and then surprise you all. Nothing says a rush of the moment like a group of teen girls being startled. :drevil:

Ah, the guy in Nassau just wanted me to buy a scooter. I am not easily swayed.

And if you had done that I probably would have let them be sketched out for a bit, and then do something extremely awkward like hug you and mortify everyone.

Tell you friends you missed out on some hotties. We were all class this trip. Especially when Vitney Valker came out to play ;)

PS: I am not a teen.

Kenzzzzz!!! I was very happy to see pics posted on FB today. :D Can't wait to hear all the stories to go with them! And yes, those most definitely count.

What is it with Disney parks and stalkers? My friend and I were followed by these two guys at DL once. They went on every ride we went on. Should've made friends with them. Then one time on Pirates we were on a boat filled with a bunch of drunk guys. Asked us to come "hang out" with them. Uh, no thanks.

Pluto, your hospital story sounds a little creepy. :lookaroun Glad you made it out of there okay, and with answers!

Tis finals week around here. Had my first one today, wasn't bad. Next one is Wednesday and then Friday. I'm bored already. I can't study all tonight and all tomorrow and all Wednesday for that final. I've been in my room today trying and I"m going a little insane. Friday can't come soon enough...that's when my dad and I start our drive back to Cali, this time for good. I've been saying good bye to everyone out here...it's so hard. I hate it. I cried when I said good bye to my friend's family. Blah.

Aw boo, saying goodbye does suck, but you'll be back sooner than soon and that makes it a little easier =) I also dislike huge stretches between exams.. it's so easy to procrastinate! You'll do fine, though =)

PS: I loveee that you commented on my album =) There's cruise pictures up now!

Good for you. I'd be a bit freaked out if some random person accosted me, to only ask me to buy them an electric scooter.

Awkward hug or a slap, that would've been awesome. :D Of course, by the time your friends ask who on earth was that guy, I probably would've been long gone amid the bustle of the crowd... ;)

Like I said, I met a group of chicks in EP. Hot bunch as well. :lookaroun Seriously, probably was fun to bring Miss Walker out, hm?

And I know you're not a teen, young lady. You do look like one, though...

One more thing... FB link?

Stalkers? Get them everytime. It usually is a girl, (in two cases, a guy :lookaroun), but I would actually friend them when they least expect it. It usually is because they go solo and want companionship or are just bored. I think I am too trusting, but I don't mind. After all, it's not like (s)he will follow you back home, right? Leave that to those hitch-hiking spirits...

The question is how college plans are going to work out before I can begin that Radiology program in January. My hometown college isn't offering the needed classes during the summer, but the next-nearest campus does. In other words, I probably will have to drive 30 miles down and back everyday. May not be much, but my car engulfs gas; probable gas bill per week? About $55. I probably will have to get a job after that local college stint ends. And then there are scholarships. Apparently, this program I signed up for back in January claimed I am eligible for two of them, but I yet to receive notification of them. I have e-mailed them, and I still haven't received an answer yet. :brick:

Finals already!? Same here. I mean, starting Thursday, I will have nonstop exams as well, and they will all be over at 2:45 Tuesday afternoon. And 6 days later, graduation. :dazzle: This is pretty much it. What sucks is that the very idea hasn't sunk in yet; I still can't believe that it's time....

Got my final grades back... not too impressed, to tell the truth.

Aviation Meteorology: B
Physics I: B
Physics Lab I: B
Calc II: C
Chem II: C

Term GPA is 2.50, cumulative is 2.78. Need to be over 2.6 to keep my scholarship, so... there's that. Sigh...

=( Boo. But good that you can keep your scholarship. To keep money at MTA you need something ridic, like an A- average.

Hahah it was in Nassau and he was renting out scooters. It's too bad you can't hear me, I do a great impression. "Wow, you have a nice bodee"

Well of course you would disappear, can't have me knowing your name after all.

Walker? Paige? She was fine. It was her alter ego Vitney that was the problem ;) Ahahhahah good times. I will post some pics of the VITNEY VALKER face. We had a great time. But PWalk IS a babe.

And if you are trying to be all flirtz, it is not working. I have no pride in looking like a 12 year old boy, thanks.

I'll be putting the link at the end of my TR, but since you askedd:

Big events like this tend to creep up on ya, don't they? Enjoy it, savor it.

But that's one hell of a semester you got there...All sciences and math stuff. :dazzle:

I think colleges need to stop making such a big deal over GPAs. When my dad is looking at applications, he goes for the person with a slightly lower GPA and extracurriculars than the person with a 4.0 and nothing extra. Those extracurriculars are just as important as classes. We should find a good balance between them both. Ultimately, the life lessons we learn in college are far more important than the classes we took. We're not going to remember every bit of info we learned in class but we'll remember those life lessons. Granted, this doesn't mean we should slack off...we still need to try our hardest. I just think that society expects perfection from us, and that's just not possible.

When I was a zoology major, all the science classes I took brought my GPA down. Currently I'm at a 2.7, and I know I worked my @ss off for every one of those grades while juggling volunteer work and polo club. Right now I'm trying to raise my GPA. This semester I started my business classes and I needed all A's to get a 3.0. That isn't going to happen. Colleges in Cali won't accept me because they want me to have a 3.6 GPA. It sucks. But I know I'm doing my best, and that's all that matters.

Totally didn't mean to go off like that.

Nah dude, I think it's an important point to make. Here in the Maritimes (specifically at X and Mount A, as they are the two schools I am most familliar with), they make it nearly impossible to keep any entrance money that's offered to you in your first year. I got 1000$/year for four years, but I needed a 3.7 GPA to keep it. In my first year. Yeah, like that happens. My C in second semester Spanish killed that. Luckily, it didn't matter TOO much as I had a good summa job and was able to make it up. But they have unrealistic expectations. I worked my rear end off last semester, juggling pool calamities every day, volunteering, teaching swimming, tutoring, and my own school work. No social life.. which doesn't bother me too much, but still. There's no way to get those marks (and not to be all high and mighty, especially at MTA, they're hard on you) without doing NOTHING ELSE.

And getting into grad school is going to be hard without doing Honours.. btu I don't think I can do it. I really really do not want to write a thesis. I want to help kids. ASAP.

Anything you liked the best on the cruise? Any other stories? :D

So much more to come, but I can give you the highlights:

- Erica and I had a romantic date at the Poly to watch Wishes on our last night
- Likely everyone we saw thought Paige and Erica were together, as they were always touching and telling each other they were "beautiful", "gorgeous", and "precious"
- We sang Shania Twain on the cruise and scarred many families
- I was dumb enough to let myself get heat stroke our second day on the cruise, and sadly missed supper
- Danced to country at Wavebands on the Wonder.. there was no one else on the dance floor. Quite the show.

Most repeated phrases:
"WHERE IS MY FLASH?!"
"Do you, do you really?"

And finally:
Me: "I'm excited for the cruise!"
Erica: "Personally, I'd rather go to the dentist for three days straight"
