...Tammy! The cruise section is so quiet! Buuuut, I'm super-excited for her to be ON a cruise. And I'm super-excited that we'll get the benefit of another of her kick-butt photo-infused TRs when she gets back! Right?!

Totally eating up her Instagram postings. If you haven't already, go find kingdomkonsultants on Instagram! I'm assuming that was Tammy posting those Magic-al ship pics there yesterday! ;)

I am picking up Tammy, her hubby and their friends on Saturday morning to show them around our beautiful city. The weather has been gorgeous all week so I am hoping they are having a great trip. The forecast is now calling for rain on Saturday (of course) but our saying in Nova Scotia is "If ya don't like the weather, wait 5 minutes because it is bound to change" so let's keep our fingers crossed that it changes otherwise I might just have to take them on a tour of our basement :D

Oh yes! Tammy told me about her upcoming personal tour! That's so sweet of you to do! I'll be crossing my fingers for great weather on Saturday. Oh wow! A basement! I wanna see!!!! I've seen them on tv! LOL! ((Seriously, when we were in Oklahoma early last year we drove around the neighborhoods looking at the old houses..love that..and I noticed every few houses we'd pass had a giant "bump" in the backyard. Hubby said those are storm shelters like if a tornado is coming. I was so thrilled! I begged him to pull over, let me knock on some doors, and ask to see the inside of them. Never seen those before either! LOL! He wouldn't do it, tho. He said I was crazy! :p ))

If you want, I can post more stories about how obsessed I am. . .

Actually, I have some pictures of New Fantasyland in WDW. I was at the Magic Kingdom last weekend and was invited to test the new Beauty and the Beast attraction. I'm posting the pictures in the Picture of the Day thread, but I could throw them into a thread on this forum if anybody's interested.

That's cool, Chuck! I don't usually look at the pic threads so I haven't seen any. I bet it was really cool to see it with your own eyes! Feel free to post any pics of anything. Won't hurt my feelings.

We can have a chatter thread about nothing, anything, or everything until Tammy gets back to wow us! Lol!

I think it will be lots of fun playing tourist with them and the weather has now changed from rain to just cloudy so I am okay with that. I have been brushing up on my Halifax facts so that I know some stuff for them, lol !!! And I promise if you come to Nova Scotia we will show you a basement and ours actually has a really nice bar in it where my hubby makes awesome drinky drinks :D

Oh my gosh, I so would have wanted to stop too. I am now picturing the farm house from the Wizard of Oz, we may have basements but we definitely don't have storm shelters.

I totally need to plan a trip up to that part of Canada. Only part I've ever seen is Niagara Falls and Niagara on the Lake when we went up for my brother-in-law's wedding (he married a Canadian girl..wedding was in a chapel in St. Catherines I think it was). Newfiefan (Sarah) from Newfoundland wants to show me her part of the world, too. Last year when we had dinner with her & her hubby she was telling us how mundane a thing it is to go to this place nearby and see iceburgs float by. I was like falling on the floor! Iceburgs?! For real?! I can count on 1 hand how many times I've seen snow...as in a few inches max. She was telling us so much stuff and we were drooling on the details. It's just so foreign to us. Our limit of experience with the things she & Pete told us about is like watching stuff on Nat Geo or Discovery Channel. LOL! I'd LOVE to see other places completely different from the holy-hot-n-muggy south.

Let me just tell you, it was only a few years ago that we drove west of Houston over to San Antonio and on other occasions up to Austin. On the road trip I was looking at the passing scenery and noticed random cactuses growing off the side of the road and I totally freaked out. First we had to have an entire conversation about the plural word for "cactus". Is it cactuses or cacti? LOL! Then I was totally tripping out squealing every time I'd spot another one. Hubby was like, "What is your deal?! It's just a stupid cactus!" Hellooooooo...silly man...the only cacti (<- that one got my vote) I've ever seen with my own eyeballs were in little pots in people's kitchen windows! I've never seen them growing out in the "wild" all by themselves. I wanted him to stop so I could go touch one but he wouldn't compromise his making of good time. I suppose I'm not hard to impress, huh?

Oh my gosh Kelly, you crack me up !! Well I can promise you there is most definitely no cactus, cactuses or cacti here, haha !!

Well I had a fabulous day yesterday with Tammy and the gang, what awesome people to spend the day with. I ordered a bright and sunny day for them and it certainly worked out because the weather was a perfect fall day. We met them at the port around 10ish. Trevor and Oliver came down too so they could meet them and then they went off on their own while I took the others touring around. I felt like I have known the 4 of them for years, it was such a great day and I am so glad I got to meet all of them. I think they were having a fantastic cruise :) I will leave the rest of the details for Tammy's awesome trip report, she will be able to tell it much better then me.

Wow!! This thread made me so happy!!

It helps with the disembarking sadness. :)

We are in the NYC harbor waiting for breakfast. We were up at 5 to see the skyline as we pulled in to the city. We are hoping to catch an early bus and be back early afternoon.

It was a great great cruise. Angie was sooooooo sweet to give up her day for us!! Our private excursion was about a hundred times better than any other excursion I'm sure. :). We saw so much and it was an absolutely gorgeous day. Angie and her while family are just adorable and incredibly nice.

Sigh. It was just great. Sad that it's over!!

Crush Dude!

Back from WDW!Counting down to DLP in November!
Lol! Hardly used my camera at all!! Or I took about a gazillion pictures. One of the two!

And yes, that was me on instagram whenever we had wifi! We put up one last skyline picture this morning, and Jess is posting from Disney World now!
Been watching Instagram loved the skyline pic ;)

Ooooh... Love the skyline, too! Reminds me of what refineries look like at a distance at night. I know, crazy to compare but all the lights look similar... ;)

Glad it was a good trip! So looking forward to the report!!!
