So just for kicks and giggles we walked over and started browsing, hubby looked at one of the planter holder thingys and turned it over and said really REALLY loud "Oh hon, I can make this for you in a couple of hours" I acted all excited and said "You can??? I figured it would take a lot longer then that especially without a picture" Well in the 2.1 seconds it took me to open my pack to grab my camera the guy came flying over to where we were standing and said "NO PICTURES!!!" My hubby shrugged his shoulders and said "no problem, I made one just like it in shop class 20+ years ago for my mom!"
It was a total set up since I really didn't want one and hubby knew all about this guy from me explaining this thread wayyyyyy before.
We laughed all the way to France!!!
and no, he didn't make one in shop class, but the look on the guys face was priceless!:lol:

you're kidding right? because this is definatley the best post on the entire board, I've been following it for 2 years, and i'm sure for it'll be here in another 2 years as well.

Hello everyone!!! And hi to you Ms. Tinkherbell, long time no speak!!!

I looove this thread, I hope it NEVER dies!

Well, I just came back from the World on Monday :cry: and when I was in Epcot I couldn't help but think of this thread. It is soooo funny! Unfortunately, it was too early in the month for Mr. Plant Stand to be there but I'm willing to drive back to Epcot (about 4 hours from home) just to mess with this guy. My 10 year old is totally up for it too so if you guys want to get together and mess with the plant guy, we'll do our best to meet up with you.

Hey, did you guys finally get those shirts done with the guy's picture on it where he was all ed off? Wasn't MKT going to do them? I think that was some time late last year. It would be so funny if we all showed up with jackets or trench coats, flashed the guy while wearing the shirt with his picture on it, and someone took a picture of that! :lol:

After all this time away, I stop by and look what I see.... The Altercation thread... hehehe This just never get's old. Wonder why Disney hasn't made a movie about this. It appears to have the shelf life of a Disney feature. :eek:

Good to see the planter man is still a top attraction...:sohappy:

Hmm... it seems that they're scared of corporate espionage... perhaps I'll go dressed as a spy? Wear a trench coat, cool fedora with a pinched front and a pushed back, dark sunglasses, and have a suitcase handcuffed to my hand, accompanied by a sexy female wearing a turtleneck, black beret, and sunglasses.

LOL. I was dared to do the same thing by my mother when I visit next month and then say, "Oh, I saw a demo on how to make these at Home Depot, just wanted to make sure my measurements were correct." :lol: :D :lol:

It's corporate espionage that makes america what it is today, nothing to be scared of here people!!!

What you really need is a nice mock-russian accent "must kill mouse and dog"
