I Got Food Poisoning

"Typically". Thank you. But there's an exception to every rule, correct? Everyone coming in here saying that the OP DID NOT have food poisoning is completely ignorant.

Alright, I agree with you. You can get food poisoning anywhere. So why is it wrong for Crockett to specify to be careful at a UNIVERSAL park, in a UNIVERSAL thread? All Crockett said was to be careful. How was he implying that Disney is better in anyway, by talking about Universal in a Universal thread? Disney has no place here, along with any other place of business. Why would he say "be careful at Universal... and Disney... and Denny's... and KFC..... and Publix.... and Chili's.... and Outback", when those have nothing to do with the subject at hand? This whole thread is about... once again... UNIVERSAL. So there was no need for him to bring Disney into this discussion.

You don't need to assume he hates Universal. It's not your place. You thought you had an argument, I guess because you're bored for whatever reason, to call him out on disliking Universal, and liking Disney more. You were out of line.

Crockett was on an "anti-Universal", "pro Disney" posting spree and in the middle of it decided to bump up an irrelevant thread from a month ago.

There is no need to be "extra careful" while eating at Universal Studios. They are not renowned for cases of food poisoning.

Now, please explain to me once again why NemoRocks was out of line for suggesting Crockett dislikes Universal and likes Disney better?

PS - my father got food poisoning from the Boardwalk bakery when I brought him to WDW with me a couple years ago. ;)

How about you learn to read before you spout off.

I never said Crockett wasn't "anit-Universal". (I bolded that for you, maybe you can pay attention.) So, I feel INCREDIBLY sorry that you wasted your time finding those posts, while feeling as if you were going to make a point. :ROFLOL: It doesn't matter what his intentions were, he said nothing wrong. All he said was to be careful. Maybe he had just got back from a vacation and experienced similar symptoms? I don't hate Universal or Disney, but yea, I'll tell you be careful eating there because of food poisoning. As I would any where.

What's wrong with being "extra careful" about anything to do with personal health? I'd advise you to be "extra careful" while eating anywhere that the food is not prepared by yourself. I mean... you know... that is the smart thing to do.

If you can't understand my post for how I posted it, I need to explain nothing further to you.

Show me where I said it's impossible to get food poisoning at WDW? Another pointless, weightless statement.

Don't make up things, and think you're making points. Your post was about completely worthless. As well as a waste of my own, and your own time.

How can you be "extra" careful? Do you have to go into the kitchen to watch them prepare the food?

I don't see anyway to be more "extra" careful when you are on vacation than when you eat out at home.

What is this "extra" step that we need to observe?

Wow, someone posting here seems angry.

Whether the original poster here actually had food poisoning or a "bug" we'll never really know unless they went to a doctor for tests. Very often when people are sick after eating at a particular restaurant they may think they have food poisoning when it was actually a virus they have been carrying around that has now decided to rear its ugly head, and the restaurant they last ate at gets the blame.

Not saying the OP didn't have food poisoning but it could have been a bug.

And stop calling people names, it's not very nice.

1. I know how to read.

2. I don't need your spelling mistakes to be bolded to pay attention to them.

3. It took approximately 30 seconds to run the search and paste it, but thanks for your sympathy.

4. I did make a point: Crockett has a history of being pro-Disney and anti-Universal, so NemoRocks was entitled to that assumption.

5. Crockett stated he never had an experience with getting food poisoning at Universal. (Maybe he should have bolded it so you could have paid attention.)

6. Your arguments supporting Crockett's statement are all taken out of context and therefore irrelevant. Put into context, his comment was made in the middle of his anti-Universal posting spree so therefore NemoRocks was justified in believing he was anti-Universal.

7. The comment I made about food poisoning at WDW was not directed at you, but just an afterthought I edited in as a general response to the thread. Perhaps I should have made that more clear.

8. I am curious what things I "made up" in my post. I linked to other posts and summarized. I did not invent anything.

9. While I am pleased to have wasted your time and hope that I am wasting it even more right now, don't make assumptions that I have wasted my own. The value given to how I spend my time is not calculated by "Rowdy" from the internet, but by myself. In fact, I feel my time is better spent participating in WDWMagic threads than it is in calculating future values of annuities, which is what I would be doing right now if I wasn't typing this.

Wow, I'd really love to generate a response for you to come back with yet another long-winded unrelated response, but I'll resist. It's really not even worth it, if you cannot discuss correctly.

And I repeat: ...
Oh, do enlighten us with what can be "discussed correctly" and related to the topic on hand... I know I'd really like to know. Something more than "" would suffice.

I got food poisoning from McDonald's one night and had to call out of work the next morning. I still eat there, even from that same McDonald's, and I've been fine. Mistakes happen everywhere, viruses can be put into the body from anywhere.

Holy crap. I have never been so baffled by somebody's posts before. Hey Crockett, what did Universal ever do to you?

And for the record, I think Universal has some of the best theme park food that world can offer. And yes, I think it's better than Disney's food. :-P
