I got a very special reply...

And I requested that Mission: Space actually blast guests into space every three minutes.

I'm so psyched that they'll now be doing it since I requested it! I've designed the space outfits and everything!
Here's what I said:

Hi. My name is Tim, and I have a Disney attraction question. Why
aren't guests actually blasted into space on Mission: SPACE? In my opinion,
this would make for a better experience. Imagine my surprise when I
exited my capsule expecting to be on Mars but winding up in a post
show area. Mars has many fans, both male and female. I personally
think Mars deserved to be visited.

Please take a moment to review this special request. I would very much
appreciate it. Thank you.

Sincerely,
Tim

And here is their response:

Dear Tim,

Thank you for your message regarding the Walt Disney World Resort.

We value your loyalty to the Disney brand and appreciate the opportunity
to address your feedback regarding attraction offerings at our parks. The
Walt Disney Company strives to provide the best possible attraction
experience for our Guests. Our attractions offerings may change from time
to time, but will always be present in our theme parks.

At this time, there are no plans to have actual trips to Mars. The planet
is very far away and we're not sure if Gary Sinise's botox will hold. Mars
candy bars are currently available at the Hess station on Buena Vista Dr.
You may also be assured that your observations have been shared and taken
seriously.

Thank you again for sharing your comments. We look forward to providing
a magical experience, rich in character interaction, upon your next
visit.

Sincerely,

So...all they have to do is get rid of Gary Sinese and we'll all get to go to Mars.

It's only a matter of time....see letter writing DOES work. Thank you.

You're lucky, I sent a very casual suggestion for an addition to new fantasy land two years ago with the wording that no reply was necessary, and that it was just a casual suggestion to please be passed along to imagineering. After three progressivly more serious emails that my idea was being passed from WDW guest relations up the ladder I received a paper letter in the mail from legal explaining that all my correspondence with the Walt Disney company (one email) was being deleted from their files and while my interest in WDW was appreciated any ideas used in the parks is the property of Disney imagineering and not related to any idea of mine. A little heavy handed just for suggesting a nicer place for the sword in the stone but what the heck?
Sorry, I think that may be the result of me and my actions.

A person with my analytical skill set understands that EPCOT has got problems, especially FW. Then one day I once once visited DCA. There a golden idea formed in my head: what if...what if....what if we were to build Soarin' in EPCOT!!!
This would solve EPCOT's problems and no doubt prove to be very popular with guests! I wrote it on a suggestion card which I put in the suggestion box at DL Guest Relations. I can't believe nobody at TWDC thought of it first! What's up with that, they all asleep or something!? In the whole world I was the first to ever come up with the idea to clone Soarin'!!! (I must be hyper intelligent or something!)

Sadly evil TWDC stole my idea and implemeted it. Without consulting me! And without any offer of compensation! Can you believe those people!?

Luckily I had a good lawyer. And, since I had come up with the idea, TWDC had no choice but to offer adequate compensation. We settled out of court for $1.5 million. A pittance. But I'm happy to learn that I taught Disney a right good lesson, taught them never to steal their ideas from guests anymore.

If I write a letter suggesting that I would like the mine ride finished before my next trip, will it open next month? Or should I just start a petition?
Dear MOXOMUMD,

Thank you for your message regarding the Walt Disney World Resort.

At this time there is no plans for a Mine Train ride to be finished before your trip. We do have one being built for other people's enjoyment. You can rest assured that we take great delight in ruining your vacation.
