I was inquiriing as to why Claudia, Laura and Paula (aka the Bimbettes aka the Silly Girls) were not available for meet-and-greets outside the same area that Gaston is right now.

Here's what I said:

Hi. My name is Angie, and I have a Disney face character question. Why
aren't the Bimbettes (Claudia, Laura and Paula) available for
meet-and-greets in the Belle's Village area of New Fantasyland along
with Gaston? In my opinion, out of all the townspeople in that village
(in the movie and subsequent musical play), they stand out the most to
people and have a pretty good fan-base of both male and female fans! I
personally think they deserve to finally meet their fans. I am one of
them.

Please take a moment to review this special request. We would very much
appreciate it. Thank you.

Dear Angie,

Thank you for your message regarding the Walt Disney World Resort.

We value your loyalty to the Disney brand and appreciate the opportunity
to address your feedback regarding character offerings at our parks. The
Walt Disney Company strives to provide the best possible entertainment
experience for our Guests. Our entertainment offerings may vary from
day to day based on weather, crowds, and other factors, but will always
be present in our theme parks.

At this time, there are no plans to have The Bimbettes at character meet
and greet locations. These characters are currently featured daily in
the Beauty and the Beast - Live on Stage show in Disney's Hollywood
Studios. Please know when we receive comments from Guests, such as
yours, they are shared with various areas of our organization. You may
also be assured that your observations have been shared and taken
seriously.

Thank you again for sharing your comments. We look forward to providing
a magical experience, rich in character interaction, upon your next
visit.

I got that same letter on (insert topic/request/observation here) a while back.

I love that you requested the Bimbettes, sorry they don't currently have plans to add them to the Gaston M&G, I think they would add something extra to that area.

But now that I've spoken up, they most likely will get them in there! And I jhave just the perfect hairstyles for them.

You're lucky, I sent a very casual suggestion for an addition to new fantasy land two years ago with the wording that no reply was necessary, and that it was just a casual suggestion to please be passed along to imagineering. After three progressivly more serious emails that my idea was being passed from WDW guest relations up the ladder I received a paper letter in the mail from legal explaining that all my correspondence with the Walt Disney company (one email) was being deleted from their files and while my interest in WDW was appreciated any ideas used in the parks is the property of Disney imagineering and not related to any idea of mine. A little heavy handed just for suggesting a nicer place for the sword in the stone but what the heck?

They are paranoid about litigation. "That was MY idea" sort of lawsuits.

I should add, they are RIGHTFULLY paranoid.

It's sad that in this age if inter connectivity and instant sharing of ideas that ideas have become property. I get it, it's just too bad. You're right though, gotta watch out for the intellectual property rights. I just hope that the poor stone gets moved to a more fitting place.

I wrote them a letter asking them to make an M&G setting for Carlotta...She can be near Ariel. Carlotta was Prince Eric's housemaid. She has lots of fans both girls and boys and I know I would love to pose with her. I have sketched out the outfit she should wear and what her hair should look like... I know everyone would love to meet her and have their picture taken with her. a couple weeks went by and I got this letter back!
