It is over.
Philly total...26.7 inches.

I unfortunately had to work this weekend (I'm a RN at a Center City hospital...) and was lucky enough to have a friend and husband with 4 wheel drive vehicles. I have to say driving home at 7:30 this morning, I have never seen the city so beautiful! Rittenhouse Square was breathtaking! Luckily enough for me, I got to sleep all day and my husband had to do all the shoveling....

Amazingly, even though it has been snowing all day in Buffalo, it's been the light stuff that doesn't stick and melts the second it hits the ground. For a while there, we even had blue sky between the clouds that were dropping flakes. I hope it stays this way, or if we do get some more snow, it stops being nasty in the Northeast before the 13th... I have a plane to catch to Disneyland.

Crazy amounts of snow!!!! Lucky for us, we keep missing the snow this year up here. Only had to shovel the driveway once this whole winter!!! Makes up for the horrible winter we had last year. At least we had a WDW vacation to break it up last March!!!

P.S. Just noticed that this is my 1000th post!!! FINALLY graduated to a senior member!!!! :sohappy:

Love Center City! It must have been gorgeous when the snow was still fairly untouched. Unfortunately, piles of frozen dirty slush will soon replace it all.

Sorry to hear that the weather is so miserable. Should I feel guilty that the forecast high for me tomorrow is 78? Stay safe!

Thankfully I don't have to work again till Friday! Now I can enjoy being snowed in drinking hot chocolate and watching movies for this one! :)

Have about 24 inches on the ground from the weekend and they are saying 1-2 feet again today... Maybe I'll finally go back to school (to teach) Friday???

Thank goodness Disney is only 53 days away!

They say 10 to 15 inches for us this time around. Started snowing lightly last night about 8 pm, we have about an inch out there and it's stopped for now

hope you put rum in the hot chocolate

Isn't that the only way to have hot chocolate??

Loving the snow right now. Kudos to my wonderful husband who does all our shoveling and the neighbors as well. Such a good guy.

Seriously, why does there have to be continuous news coverage here in Philly? I have had it on for the past 2 hrs and they keep showing the same footage over and over. I've seen the same Dunkin Donuts parking lot being plowed about 17 times!
