Am I the only one getting a little bit irritated by people posting things like:

"I can't WAIT! I am going to be there in 47 days 12 hours 2 mins!!!!!'

"God I HOPE they open (said attraction) 5 months early for me on my vacation!!"

"I hope that POTC and HM look exactly like they do now when I get there for my TRIP in 25 and a half days!!!!"

"I will be there so soon! I can't wait!!!!!"


While your excitement is cute...these types of posts don't belong in certain threads.....Quite honestly, I KNOW you're excited for your trip to WDW. That is why we read and post to these boards to begin with...because this place is very special to us. Why does everyone on the boards feel the need to tell us the obvious??? If you do, how 'bout making a new thread or section called "excited for trip..useless post"....

Ha, I was thinking the same thing. "Breaking News: WDWGuy is tired of people being excited for their trips! Stop the presses!" Or is the fact that WDWGuy is tired of people being excited just a rumor? Maybe it's not true at all?!

I'm so confused :shrug:

BTW I can't wait until 9/30 when I get to go to EPCOT again!

Also soo soo excited to renew my AP! CAN'T WAIT!

jeez someone's got a case of the crankies.

i havent been able to post a "i cant wait for my trip" in a couple of years...so sad. but it still makes me happy to see other people excited for their trips.

Sorry, you're on a WDW fan site. In fact the most popular one with forums IMHO.

I think it's a virtual impossibility to avoid people being 'cute' with their excitement. This is where people come to do just that with a reasonable expectation of finding like-minded individuals.

Dude, you seriously need to take a chill pill and maybe consider joining another web community, cuz' if you don't like to hear people talk about their excitement over thier upcoming WDW trip you're gonna HATE this place! Choose your battles wisely,this one ain't worth fighting.:wave:

Can't say they bother me. If i'm not in the mood for reading that type of thing then I just dont open the thread. Nearly all of them have suitable titles so its not like you open them by mistake.

I guess sometimes it bothers me. It's probably exciting for the OP, but for a few others, it's like saying, "So... how 'bout that Disney World, huh? Pretty cool, doncha think?" 37 times a day. To me, they're not really discussions 'cause there's not much to be discussed.

Limiting those to the "How Many Days For You?" thread would be nice. :shrug:

Whatever the point was I hope it got across, when someone says that they have a few weeks or days or hours, I get jealous. Almost wants to steal their tickets and take their place. But, just for the record, 51 days and counting......... :drevil: hear it as if evil "I CAN'T WAIT"!!!!!!
