am I missing something here?
this thread started with Kim saying she felt a little insulted, and everyone tells her not to be sensitive in these parts, we're all friendly really
by the time you reach the end of the thread, everyone is being ACTUALLY nasty, because she happened to postthat people are nice at intercot?

are people round here really so sensitive as to take umbridge at that, and if so, how can we say to kim that SHE is touchy?

Mark....i have to respectfully disagree with ya on this one:
this is the quote from Kimball that tipped me off that she/he is a PHONY...and was here to cause trouble...not to contribute...

I don't know how you interpret this....but I'm not going to let someone take a backhanded shot at me without shooting back...her claims of being "insulted" were totally unfounded.....everyone was very nice to this person and didn't deserve a cheap insult to our character....I say she can drop dead and take her little game somewhere else.
Kimball is a LIAR and a FRAUD....with intentions unknown at this time....but it was not to engage in conversation with our gang.

If I had to guess, this person is NOT new to this site. Even after all her protestations about being "insulted"....declaration of leaving this site to go to a site with "polite" people, and despite of all the ridicule this person has endured especially from me...she/he/it continues to make appearances here in our home...does this sound like a normal person to you?

whenever ariel tells a joke, i can't help but think of the term "fish schtick." 
but seriously, folks, ariel makes a good point. i know that the numerous times i start something stupid, it collapses under its own weight if i leave it alone.
it seemed to me that kimball was making her remark with tongue firmly planted in cheek. i honestly don't know. the fact that she keeps poking in here might indicate that she really enjoys the people on this board, even those who are flaming the heck out of her. and who wouldn't love this group?
that's just my theory, anyway. it's really no skin off my back either way. i just dream of a day when we can all hold hands and sing that old-time gospel hymn, "drop-kick me jesus through the goalposts of life." :sohappy:

just a final caveat
we got a pm today from Kim just asking us to post how sorry she was about causing any upset to anybody
nothing else, no insults or parting shots. just a complete apology
which was nice

our FIRST private message since we joined the board and you ve gone and deleted her steve! THANKS A MILLION!!

I don´t like seeing people "terminated" either, but she pushed it as little....
When a person is terminated, even the pms she sends get erased?? :veryconfu You can´t post her apology?

I'm perplexed...
Here's a woman who joins a club and one of her first posts is a complaint about members being sarcastic and insulting.
Then, when members try to appease her, she writes it off cuz she has a low opinion of our teenage members, BUT, in the same breath implies ALL the members are impolite by directing them to another club where members are more "polite."
Then, when called on it by members, she issues a sarcastic apology (remember the 'cry' terminology), the very thing she complained about in the first place.
This is called CHUTZPAH !
Ya know....maybe i'm out here on a tree limb all alone and read too much into it...I've gone to message boards, didn't like what i saw, and left without anyone knowing i was there....it would have never occured to me to post an insulting message about its members....i guess that makes ME an odd duck......this is my very last opinion on this matter...it gets to a point where I realize I should've just kept my big mouth shut.
