For a moment I thought the tree of life was tilted. Phew. Lots of trees requires lots of cleanup. I wonder if Tom Sawyer's Island will be closed for a bit. How would one even get the debris off that island?

We made it through the night in orlando. My apt complex has lost quite a bit of roof shingles and some trees and lights are down, but we miraculously maintained power the entire time. Will be checking out WDW soon, perhaps even tomorrow to look at damage and crowds.

I think they evacuated the cabins to other resorts, so there may be no guests.

Quick update: Everything turned out okay. Lost a few shingles, a metal storage shed, and the entire neighborhood is covered in leaves and branches but nothing too severe that I can see. Power still out but that's truly such a low concern, I'm just glad to still have a roof! Hope others fared well, too!

Well, I'm thankful that the people I was most worried about are ok, my home is still standing with minimal damage, and my power only flickered on and off but never went completely out. My bedroom floor is flooded though which sucks. But compared to what happened down south, that is nothing and I am feeling very thankful and blessed.

Apparently someone put a drone up during the storm. Don't remember where, but that's just stupid to risk your safety to do.

But I bet the video is amazing....

If anyone put a drone up during the storm it would have "landed" at least two area codes away.
