That storm could be the next one it looks like it is just hanging out waiting to head west. I hope not

From the "spaghetti models" I have seen, it looks to loop around and then head north out to sea. You never know though.

Based on tweets I've seen on Twitter, it looks like the pools are now closed.

Boardwalk pool closed at noon. This was posted around the hotel.

I live in Gainesville. One of my friends posted a picture on Facebook taken 2 days ago when they were filling up at the gas station. The person at the pump behind them was filling up a 5 gallon bucket from Home Depot with gasoline. Pretty sure you can Darwin Award semi-finalists all over Florida.

I've seen a lot of snaps from Plantation Key, storm doesn't even look that bad.

These were posted by a friend of mine yesterday.. sent to him by someone who stayed Islamorada. They were taken @ 15 hours prior to the eye actually hitting the Keys.

Per a news network, the Florida Highway Patrol is urging everyone in the entire State of Florida (with the possible exception of the Pensacola area) to stay off the roads. They need to focus their resources where absolutely needed.

I believe it. I just found out that it passed directly over Cudjoe. That is where we had our place! I know people who I can almost guarantee stayed. Stubbornest people I've ever met. I'm worried sick for them!

Well, according to my son-in-law, who surfed just before Katrina, you get the best waves...along with rip tides and very strong currents. It's tough to be a surfer in Florida, especially along the Gulf.

Tornado Watch in effect for the theme park areas

As someone who lives in an area where tornado watches/warnings are fairly frequent in the summer, this worries me a bit. I'm sure most WDW structures can handle a hurricane-but they wouldn't stand a chance against a decent sized tornado. Hurricanes are like battering rams, tornadoes are like buzz saws. Stay safe everyone.
