Rain won’t stop until tomorrow evening, then they have to “unbatten” the resort. Friday seems unlikely. It's going to be out of Orlando Friday let's see who opens
Did not know this happened.Yes, that's the joke. Everyone who's ever stayed at a Disney Resort has had the daily check in. It was a big blow-up of a discussion on this forum when it started. So, I'm not sure who doesn't actually know that that you would need to say it actually happens.
It's likely not to happen tomorrow, thus the premise of the joke is fully explained, and thus, now making it even more hilarious.
It takes instantaneous readings, about every 30 seconds, so if the moment it takes a reading it's a slight pause, it will show lower. If you scroll down there is a graph that shows average over time and it's been increasing. AccuWeather shows LBV with 17mph, and 35 mph gusts, and that's what I've been seeing with the weather station, although slightly lower gusts 28ish. The table showed a high of 32. While I'm writing this it showed 18.1, 24.8 gusts. Structures can affect things too. Oh, and there was a 40mph gust.I just checked it. It says the winds are at 7 mph gusting to 10 miles per hour. I think it needs to be recalibrated!
Free fastpass Saturday then.Rain won’t stop until tomorrow evening, then they have to “unbatten” the resort. Friday seems unlikely.
If your weather station isn't totally level it really messes with the wind readings. I am guessing soaked soil and high winds have pushed the pole off kilter a bit.I just checked it. It says the winds are at 7 mph gusting to 10 miles per hour. I think it needs to be recalibrated!
Bigfoot is real!!
Bigfoot is real!!
Take care.I’m a new Florida resident, this was my first hurricane. This was no joke, I was pretty shook up at times. Awful
Where are you located? We finally lost power at 2. It’s crazy but not awful so there is that..
Bigfoot is real!!
To be fair they always are. They thrive on doom reporting and when it doesn't end up anywere near as bad they try to make things seem worse than they are. Some are worse than others BayNews9 is awful for it.True, although local newscasters seem stumped as to why it hasn’t been worse tonight.
That unfortunately happens during a normal summer thunderstorm at CSR. We lost ours multiple times on our May trip when the weather was bad.Don't know about anywhere else, but here at CSR, we seem to have lost all the TV channels, though we still have power.
