Yes, that's the joke. Everyone who's ever stayed at a Disney Resort has had the daily check in. It was a big blow-up of a discussion on this forum when it started. So, I'm not sure who doesn't actually know that that you would need to say it actually happens.

It's likely not to happen tomorrow, thus the premise of the joke is fully explained, and thus, now making it even more hilarious.
Did not know this happened.

I just checked it. It says the winds are at 7 mph gusting to 10 miles per hour. I think it needs to be recalibrated!
It takes instantaneous readings, about every 30 seconds, so if the moment it takes a reading it's a slight pause, it will show lower. If you scroll down there is a graph that shows average over time and it's been increasing. AccuWeather shows LBV with 17mph, and 35 mph gusts, and that's what I've been seeing with the weather station, although slightly lower gusts 28ish. The table showed a high of 32. While I'm writing this it showed 18.1, 24.8 gusts. Structures can affect things too. Oh, and there was a 40mph gust.

Local news are reporting growing issues with river and street flooding all around Osceola County and that is expected to continue getting worse into Thursday. All of the runoff and rain retention pond systems have reached capacity and can’t absorb any more rain. There are reports of some neighborhoods being isolated by flooded roads.

Don't know about anywhere else, but here at CSR, we seem to have lost all the TV channels, though we still have power.
That unfortunately happens during a normal summer thunderstorm at CSR. We lost ours multiple times on our May trip when the weather was bad.
