I swear we have the 'oh my god the magic kingdom is going to be under water' debate every damn time theres a hurricane, or even just a minor tropical storm
This is a Cat 5 storm though, yes the winds will be weaker by Orlando but the clouds and the rains will not. It’s going to rain just as much inland as it is on the coast, the only benefit is no storm surge.

Is it the worst? Or is it the second worst because the cameras at Fort Myers Beach are all underwater?
Whatever gets hit the worst it's clear the Fort Myers area is going to be the centerpoint for the storm's effects and recovery efforts. Wouldn't be shocked if by Friday news coverage of the storm is more situated there than in Tampa or central Florida.

So I'm in the north but have 2 of my kids in Celebration, what do think the chance of them losing power? Someone posted that their lines are underground but what about the grid?

From what I have heard they have a considerable amount of infrastructure underground. Still I would bet they will lose it at some point.

I believe that the towels near the door are to prevent water from rains being blown against the door.

No there have been multiple trip reports from people staying at WDW during recent hurricanes/tropical storms where their rooms got massive amounts of water in through the door. Whether or not it’s considered flooded I don’t know. But water does come in.
