better!

*huggles*

I had a nice lunch at Chile's to make up for missing breakfast. Margarita chicken = :slurp: No margarita though.

Still, I am getting spam from someone pretending to be my bank warning me that someone unknown to me has redirected the account's e-mail address to the unknown person's. I am supposed to respond and give personal information that will then allow the scam artist to REALLY access my account. :fork:

So, that's a bit of a drag, but I've spoken to the bank.

I'm partial to the Cajun Chicken pasta myself. :slurp:

Don't foget to report the phisher to your bank.

The margarita chicken with the grilled shrimp is pretty yummy! Having a margarita could've slightly improved your day. :p

Smart of you to talk to your bank!

I have never once been impressed with Chili's. I don't know what it is about them, but I just don't like it. Applebee's I'm fine with...but Chili's does nothing for me.

hotter than Applebee's. :lookaroun

So how was your Disneyland trip the other day? I'm busting to get out there before the party is over. I was hoping to take my daughter to tour some colleges out there this summer, but she doesn't have time right now.

When I went back my second summer I was surprised to get . . . a $0.10 per hour raise! No, the sweet deal was I actually got some decent schedules, working days and weekends off.

Having "seniority" = :king:

I kind of liked working unpredictable hours...a huge change from my "real" job!

My first summer, everything was a closing shift. They used to do that to the MKCPs - we'd get off at some time after 2:00 in the morning, and it was okay because everybody was doing the same thing.

I appreciated having better hours the second summer because I was just a CT, not in a program and it meant being able to do more social things after work.

But, yeah - we don't go all the way down to the Magic Kingdom to work a "regular job." What fun would there be in that?!

Well, exactly!

...and you're right, the nights I worked 'til two in the morning, I was surrounded by CP's

I never made it to Disneyland. My AP Just expired and I probably won’t renew until the fall?

Your daughter, is she a junior? What colleges is she interested in?

Aw, I hated it when my AP expired. I never did renew. *sad* You live too close not to renew! :D

My daughter will be a junior, so we start visiting campuses this summer. In your area, she is interested in UCLA and Pepperdine. She is having fun researching universities all around the country and will visit schools all over, then see where she fits best. Her primary interests are in creative business, so she's interested in advertising, architecture, fashion design, those sorts of things. To pursue a career in those industries, we feel she will be better served attending university in an urban setting where those industries thrive - so Dallas, Atlanta, New York, L.A., Chicago - she has sent her ACT scores to schools in all those markets.

There was a line in the Dracula movie starring George Hamilton where he says to his leading lady: "With you, there is no quickie. It is always a . . . longie."
