Good Morning.
I need some HUGGLES.

I'm kind of sad. :(
My dog found a baby bird this morning in the dog pen and tried to play with it and before I could stop him....the poor bird died.   I think it either had a heart attack from fright or my dog may have broken it's neck when he dropped it to the gound.

I am so mad at my dog right now......
I hate to see anything get hurt and I witnessed the whole thing.:(

Darwin was right, I guess....I found a dead baby bird in the back yard a couple of weeks ago...I'm sure it was my dog. Momma bird was teaching the other one how to fly later that week. Animals are amazing.

Circle of life indeed.

And the Marlins still suck

You could pull for the other Florida team...their ok for the first seven or eight innings, but then they pull the starter and the bullpen blows up.

And I hate tests. I took the PSAT, the ACT and the SAT. You think that would be enough but NO! I had to go in to the college and take ANOTHER test because they didnt look at the essay on the SAT (or ACT) and I didnt do so hot on the math section so... more tests! :brick:

I took placement tests for STAC today with about 25 other very happy looking incoming freshmen . I hope I did ok because the last thing I need is a non credit math class.

Your dog was just being a dog. Don't be mad at him. :( That same behavior will keep the mice and snakes away. :)
My RAT terrier likes to hunt. One time I saw her hunting down a gecko :lookaroun And she and Tito always bark at the birds so I know they'd hunt them down if they could

My dog will sit at the sliding door and birdwatch. She also chases the squirrels away from the feeders; this may have more to do with her intense dislike of squirrels than actually liking the birds. :lookaroun

She is a retreiver, but the only things she bring back are pine cones and tennis balls and the occasional frisbee.

Ok. So I let the dogs out again a few minutes ago and guess what..............

he finds another baby bird in the dog pen and decides to "hunt down" that one too. I was more prepared this time (last episode was at 6:00am). He poked it with his nose and the bird starting chirping and flapping it's tiny wings and he tried to bite at it and I pulled him away. The bird hopped through a tiny opening in the fence and it's life was for the most part spared. The mother bird was angry and flew over the dog pen real low which my dog did not care for in the least. It has been quite a day for the animals and birds around my house.

My hope is that this is not a precursor to what my dog would do to the little neighbor dog (chihuahua) that has been driving him nuts if it were to wander into my dog's area (which is fenced in by the way). That dog is so small, it can literally fit into the smallest open spot. It scares me to think what might happen!

I think my dog may need an attorney soon. He has already committed murder this morning and attempted murder this afternoon. What's on the agenda for tonight? :lookaroun

I tripped over two today, and I'm still having issues with the one I'm on now. :lookaroun

So... it's not just me.

Evidently, clumsiness must run though these boards... :lookaroun
