Sorry to hear about that, but take good care of it. I had a ligament injury 2 years ago to my left wrist, and it took over a year to heal. The only good thing about it was that I got to preboard on planes so I didn't knock it into anyone else! - Yup, just me and the little old ladies preboarding!
